My goal for today is going to be really simple:

1. Somebody else can look after the dog.
2. Somebody else can do the laundry.
3. Somebody else can do the baking.
4. Somebody else can present me with all my meals, after I've made my specific requests.

Betcha it's easier said than done.  Roll Eyes

Ah, so far I've sent the dog out with the husband and son.

Laundry appears to be my domain.

And I'm cleaning the pantry, for crying out loud! Which is an incredibly painful thing to do as I CANNOT squat due to the five hour downhill hike of yesterday.

How come no one else in my family is moaning? I am a whinger. Queen of whingers, even. Cool

Buongiorno tutti!
A bit of rain for our roses yesterday, with the most amazing rolling thunder, but very little wind.

I have a list of things to do today, bill-paying etc and am determined to get our walk in this morning too.  Queen

My little sister is coming to visit for a week on Friday, so am all excited & wiping windows & washing curtains & vacuuming, mopping & dusting. Her bedroom's all ready with fresh towels & a nice new sweet-smelling soap. Looking forward to seeing her... she'll have her birthday with us
( long Italian lunch at a well-recommended restaurant we haven't tried yet  Devil)
...before she leaves we are off to Rome for 2 days....she's never been.

Our 6 tomato plants are loaded with flowers & little green fruit, and Nonna next door keeps eyeing them! Chef
They are our lovely babies!
Well, better get ready for our walk, sleep well you lot!

Buonanotte tutti!

Well, I wish someone would wash my windows. And my white doors. And my floor. And if someone could clean my shower, well, that would be heaven.  :o

I did it and I enjoyed it. Can't say I actually took  much notice of what the next book is though  Laugh The one they had just finished (although half of them hadn't  :o) is called Peony in Love. Pretty intense from what I could gather but it did spark my interest. I'll definitely be going next month and will probably have it at my place sometime soon - I'm so brave  Whistle There was plenty of wine there so that's a bonus  Drunk

I too belong to book club but ours is more just a gossip catch up session Tongue

The good thing is that I have broadened my horizons on reading.  I'm a huge fan of Marian Keyes, Jane Green etc.  So have bee reading more Jodi Picoult etc.

Good on you Tracey for going along Wink  Sometimes these things are not as bad as we think they might be.  Wink  The alcohol always helps Tongue
