Hey KM whats a pb sandwich? I will kick myself when you tell me Anyway I am way (weigh) (and very juvenile) down on my scales today. I have been really good. I got myself out of the house on the weekend so I wouldnt be tempted. It worked. I went for a couple of walks with Dylan. It was g reat. I had a brainwave on Saturday while he was tehre and we went and "harvested" macadamias. There were so many under the two trees so we took the washing basket up and he helped me pick them up. Thought it was a great thing. He managed to break some of the shells off them which I thought was very clever (yeh doting ninny "nanny") and then he liked sitting in the basket and trying to swirl them around. It was a great time. No-one else ever wants to pick them up. Got nearly 3/4 basket full and there are heaps more on the trees. So, back to work. So much to do. Keep up the good work. Oh, and my daffodils are looking pretty good.

PB Sandwich - peanut butter sandwich Good on you, and what a good find. If you keep them in the freezer until you want some they will last much longer. One of the more expensive nuts thats for sure. I think I have talked Mr Fussy into making me a chicken dome for the garden This is making very happy, gosh I am so easy to please, and I will finally be able to garden the way I want. Of course with his track record it might still be a year away before I get it, but dreams are free.

Howdy there KM. Well down 1.5 last night. Would hav been more but wore trousers and I never usually do that, normally wear a very light skirt. Was just cold when I got in. So very happy with that.
PB sandwich - that must have been the only thing I didn't think of. I often have a PBsand when I am in a hurry as I just love them.
Off into Auckland city today on the Northern Express. Have a meeting. Hope the weather holds.
Have a good day. Up to 8 1/2 days on programme in a row!!! Haha
Good luck with the gardening. I t ake it a chicken dome is to keep them out of the garden, not in!

Well done on yours loss Lynda, and eight days in a row is good going. Actually a chicken dome is designed to keep the chickens in so that they can do all the hard work for me. It is part of the permaculture way of gardening. Hubby has ordered the pipe for it so it is on its way. Off to Auckland tomorrow for a homeschool group meeting, is I have some vegetarian sausage rolls in the oven for it, should be good.

Oh haha KM - vegetarian sausage rolls is surely an oxymoron!!!!
9 days in a row!!! Have put my pedometer back on too. I am focusing again. Hopefully no hiccups this time.
My meeting in town yesterday was quite, um, volatile. I just sat and took it in. I have attended these meetings for 10 years and get so frustrated when people that can't be bothered attending even once a year come and then say "why was this done, why did this get agreed to?" Well I think the only thing I said for the whole meeting was "if you don't like the decisions, come to the meetings and read your minutes!!" I nearly walked out. I didn't get home till 7. Thankfully Mum had been around during the day and got our dinner ready. Did a pork steak casserole in the crockpot. tonight we are having leftovers with rice as Paul has a meeting at 7. Mum also made chicken noodle "soup" so I might have that. I can probably trick Dylan into having some as he loves drinking stuff out of my big soup cup!!
Have a good day in Auckland. Where abouts do you go? Isn't it around Albany somewhere or something, I seem to recall you saying before. Thats where I work!

Third time lucky, I have lost two messages trying to answer this today Good on you for sticking to plan Lynda. The sausage rolls went down really well with everyone except the lone male omnivore so that is all good. The meetings are just rotated around all our homes, yesterday was in coatsville, next time out by the prison. I have been eating pretty light today, so that is all good, but not on plan, however I am sure if I worked out the calories(something I never do) then I would be just fine. Anyway I am going to post this before I loose it all again.

Oh, so close to home I live in Coatesville in Ridge Road!! Glad the sausage rolls went down well. My mum makes the best real sausage rolls in the world! She is an amazing cook really. Oh and the best bacon and egg pie - and I don't even particularly like b&e pie!! Have remained on track so that is now 11 1/2 days to now!!! Weather great. Even put washing out this morning (in the fog) and it has cleared. Will go for a wander around the mall and return the book I got from Borders yesterday as I already have it! Its the In Death serious - JD Robb. I really enjoy them. Back to work. So much messy stuff to do want to get them all done before home time. Have a good weekend

Small world.
I have been into the whole green smoothie thing lately which of course is not on the plan at all, but I love them and they are nice and healthy.
Good on you for staying on track for so long, it will be a habit soon if you keep it up.
My cousin is going through such a hard time at the moment. She has just had a car accident on top of her hubby having the big C. She has been blasted almost constantly and very nastily from people who don't agree their choices in treatment. It is enough to make me want to scream. Why can't people just respect others in this world.
Any way that is my bleat for the day, Miss fussy is off to youth group soon so have a good weekend everyone.

hI THERE.
Still on track. Scales don't show it but I KNOW!!! Had a lymphatic drainage massage on Saturday and the lady that does it said I was retaining heaps of fluid around ankles which is not normal for me and I need to keep an eye on it. She is a naturopath too, might have to get some herbs. Had a major hot flush yesterday and have never had one of those before!!! Oh no, not that time please.
Had a good weekend. Stayed on track. Must be 14 1/2 days now. Looking forward to my coffee shortly.
Sad about your cousin. People have to make their own choices and blow what others think. Have a friend that has some skin cancer and I wasn't that delighted with her choices but I know why she chose the way she did but they are still hers and she is keeping an eye on progress and things are working pretty well.
Take care and have a good week. Will report what the scales say tomorrow....

Oh no the big M... Actually it is not so bad really now that it has started. Have fun with it. Had my bday on sunday and ate very badly. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, hamburger for lunch and then went to a restaurant with the most divine foods for dinner. Afternoon snack was birthday cake -actually it is the first time in years that I have had a birthday cake on my birthday. Anyway I got a new laptop as the old one was getting very frustrating, so it is all good.

Of course, weight his morning and down 500! Always happens. I shall stay on track. have made potato & chicken bake for dinner tonight. Should be good. I got organised this morning as have to go to the chiro this arvo as hve been very dizzy. Got some tabs from the naturopath. I feel I will be fine with the big M I just got surprised with the flush!!! Have a good night. Early morning tomorrow - up at 5.15.

Well its pretty lonely here this week!!! Have been very busy myself. Help everyone well and doing well too. Watch out for the bad weather over the weekend and don't use it as excuse to go off track. I shall endeavour to practice what I preach!!

Yeh, finished my book. I was impressed with myself that I read the last 100 pages quite slowly. With your comment KM I had no idea what was going to happen!!! It was great. Was up 100grams last night but had huge roast dinner on Sunday night. Dylan is now 2 and it was mymums birthday too. Hope you all okay out there. Its quite lonely here but its okay, am used to talking to myself. At least I agree with what is being said!!! Well sometimes anyway,

Hello Ladies, I do wish spring would come a little faster quite chilly as I write this...must admit the tulips that are starting to flower are just lovely, so far only two types out an apricot and a purple both with yellow centers and have a very light fragrance. Best thing is I can see them from the kitchen window so brighten up some of the less appealing kitchen tasks like washing dishes Sending congrats to those who have lost some weight, well done, I am still fence sitting! Better to come out of winter the same as I started than heavier but would have liked to have shed those last few kilos. With the grass only starting to grow work has been slow here but as lawns start to get lusher husband is back to some longer work days, daughter has herself a full 'part time' job, does that make sense? And for me its the gardens, house stuff and dogs as usual...with Charlie gone I had hoped for an easy time re vet bills but, no, Sara (15 years plus) has developed a heart problem so its back to the daily meds etc... Now I am back must go and see what new recipes there are..have I missed any real tasty ones? Do hope all is well with everyone and hello to any new people who have come on board recently.

Hi, There have been some quite tasty recipes. Last weeks which sounded terrible to me, but tasted delicious was Lemony Warmed rice salad with Almonds date and mint. Also we did a yum pork and coconut milk. I love it when I pull one of those out of the freezer!! There was a warm beetroot salad one too which I will keep for when my beetroot is ready. (well planted too)
I have some hyacinths out that mum must have planted years ago when I was in Europe. They look very pretty - a mauve and a maroon one I think it was.
