Ok Lynda I'll be brave and go first.
I had a fruit and live cereal for breakfast. It was buckwheat sprouts with grated pear, mashed banana and chopped kiwifruit, with two spoonfuls of yogurt on top. I normally make it with oats but I needed to use the last of the buckwheat sprouts. And yes it is Caroline approved because we discussed it when I was on the online plan.
Lunch that I am just about to have is going to be a bowl of soup. Vegetables, barley and bacon, so a meal all by itself.
I am also planning on having a green smoothie later, apple, Kiwifruit, spinach and the rest of the banana. This will be both snacks combined so will solve the problem for both of them.
Dinner will be yumm, I have some steak defrosted so something with that. Maybe I will chop it up for a stirfry. Oh wait thats what I did yesterday. Will have to ponder on that one a bit more.

Ooh, KM I am glad I'm not at your house = hahaha. We are all different but theres not much you are having today that appeals to me. I had my everyday egg (one only) in microwave and slice vogels with vegemite. Coffee morning tea. Few glasses water. Having my fave of the moment for lunch - small tin salmon and either 2 serves sakata rice crackers or if I have eaten all the salmon on my 10 crackers then I might have a vogels with banana on (which will be one of my fruits for the day). Dinner is going to be roast pork as mum is putting dinner on today. I decided I'd have a carb free night but will have some roast pumpkin and some other veges. I plan a snack sometime this arvo of a KK serve lemony date slice. Silverbeet and kiwi smoothie... ooh... haha now I sound like my kids!!!! Let me know how that goes for you.... (thats a Dr Phil phrase) Its good we are all different as I have tried many things others have suggested here out of curiousity.

Actually its pretty good. I have been having a fruit smoothie with some sort of green leafy thing in it quite often lately. Makes me feel really healthy as well as tasting great. The fussies won't try it either, but I just tell them "Don't knock it until you try it" Actually I wouldn't recommend that you start with spinach as that has a stronger flavour, so start with a milder flavoured green leafy vege. Now I know you are going to try it On the flip side, I don't like pork so I am glad that I am not at your place today too.

Haha.... well I didn't have salmon and crackers. Mum turned up with some home made sausage rolls so I had half a small one and then 1 serve sakata with 1/2 serve cottage cheese and 1tsp apricot chutney. I didn't think I'd like that but it was yum!!!
I should add I am not a smoothie lover. What do you use as the base - liquid?? i did once have a "non dairy" smoothie as I didn't want to have a coffee or hot choc and it was delilcious.

Good morning. My early day... aah... Got through dinner great. Weighed my pork, no potato/carb, but did have some roast pumpkin. Actually you know KM I don't know if I like roast pork that much these days!!! Mum often buys it and throws it in the oven every second Tuesday when she is at my house between getting her eyebrows waxed and going for acupunture and the chiropractor!! Felt full and bit yuk after it all..... Egg and toast this morning. Rest of day not planned as such but depending on what time I finish my morning work here in Penrose - but probably my salmon and crackers. Decided on spag bol type thing tonight. i think anyway. Nectarine for morning tea and some date slice for afternoon tea today I think. So what are you having that might tempt me today or change my mind about my menu???

Breakfast was different this morning as my granddaughter wanted to eat with me, I had toast with vegimite, strawberries and yoghurt. I am having sweetened , lowfat fruit yoghurt as this is the first time I have ever eaten yoghurt. I am easing myself in. Not sure how I will go with unsweetenedyoghurt.
I need to bake something as a trial for a ladies morning tea next Monday( a good excuse I say). I have baked the sultana tea loaf, it is time to try something new. Any suggestions.
Have a good one. Jill

Jill if you want something for a special afternoon tea try the banana loaf with the caramel coconut topping, it is really good, but be warned only eat as much as you are allowed.
Well this morning I had fruit salad with a bit of yogurt(homemade unsweetened) and a piece of toast and marmite. Lunch was a bowl of the same vege soup as yesterday.
I think I will make fish pie for tonight, miss fussy is going to stay with a friend and hubby is not home for dinner tomorrow, so fish pie will give four servings. One each for hubby and I tonight, and one each for Miss Fussy and I tomorrow, easy.
Hubby came home last night with two huge bags of fruit, so will probably have another smoothie this afternoon. Oh Lynda I didn't put spinach in yesterdays one I ended up putting rocket instead.

OH NO KM, I hate rocket!!!! Give me spinach, well actually good old fashioned silverbeet any day!!! Haha. I have tried to like it but nah, it just ain't gonna work!!!
Mum baked again so today I had a small date scone for lunch that she made "especially for you because you love date scones" (gave the others away) and I counted it as a bread and milk and fruit and then just had 10 crackers with cottage cheese and tsp apricot chutney again. I actually like that!!! She also baked pikelets and chocolate crunch. I have given away most of it though I did have a small piece. When I was putting it in the container to give away in carpark at daughters work this guy walked past and caught me eating a piece and I offered him some and he said no, I can't, I don't even know you - I told him I was Dee's mum and then he said "oh okay, oh my gosh this is so good, can I take two pieces?" haha. I gave them to him willing. So all her baking has been given away now - thank goodness!!! But I shouldnt have had it.
Oh Jill - couple of my favourites and others I cook for is the carrot and date loaf - with or without the topping and I make the lemony date slice every week and um, couple of others but they've just "gone"....
You know you don't HAVE to eat yoghurt!!! At class Carolyn does talk about that - if you don't really like it, there is nothing that says you have to have it and with all the "yoghurts" that you buy now, they aren't as low calorie as they used to be. And the serving is quite small if you actually measure it.

Hi Ladies, am enjoying reading your tips on snacks etc...Lynda is the carrot and date loaf in a book or in the archives..I will go and have a look and not be lazy Kiwismum, your fish pie? is that a potato topped one using canned fish? Have to work out my shopping list tonight so need some ideas. How did your sultana tea loaf turn out Jill? I have tried a couple of times but must have done something wrong as it was not that great..or perhaps we are too fussy Roasting a chicken tonight so must go and check on it..bye for now...

Oh dates yuck! yuck! yuck! You can keep your scones thank you. Funnily enough I never use to like rocket but then one day at the zoo of all places I have a potato and rocket soup and it was really yummy. So since then I have always grown some rocket. Don't like it in a salad though. Most of my smoothies have a bit of yoghurt as the base, and then if it is too thick I add some water. If I don't have any yoghurt made then I might use some milk. I started with banana berry smoothies, basicly just whatever berries you like, a banana and milk or yoghurt. This one is probably the best for someone who is not too sure about them but wants to try them out. Homemade is better since you know what is in them, as alot of cafes and other places use a powdered basewhich isn't so great. Yvonne Nice to see you hear more often again. Fish Pie, yes Smoked fish fillets and potato on top, so probably the same one you are thinking of. Never got around to my smoothie this afternoon so that is not so good, but then I am not hungry either, so might do something with the fruit for dessert.

Hi All
I'm having a bad morning. I can't believe that I am so big. So the tears have flowed and hopefully things will get better. When you're down the only way is up! I am out with a friend today. That will be interesting. Last week she wanted to share a bowl of hot chips and gravy with me and bought a fit ball in the same day. Who knows what today will bring.
I hope you all have a terrific day. I will be thinking of you.

Oh Jill, hot chips smell so good and one is never enough. Do your best - I hope it wasn't too horrific. Just get straight back on track - don't let one slip turn into an all out slide (and I speak from experience). Carolyn would say "MOVE ON". Hope you can do that. Don't cry, this time in a few weeks you know you are going to be a lighter you and grams will just keep slipping off.... honest!!!!

Jill, you are one the road and will soon be skinny skinny skinny. Don't try for perfection, just try and make good choices and if you slip up, which we all do, then get right back up again and pretend it never happened. That way you will not reck the whole week with just one mistake. Well last night we had fish pie, and I thought it would do tonight as well, but hubby ate so much of it that there was only a little bit of it left, so I ate it for lunch. So tonight I will make baked chicken and potatoes(translated into oven fries cooked with the chicken) and a large coleslaw. Breakfast this morning was an indulgence. For the two of us I cooked a medium potato cut into cubes and sauted with half and onion, and half a red capsicum, and served it will two small strips of bacon chopped up and mixed with some scrammbled egg. Actually it wasn't a huge breakfast, so it probably wasn't that bad. Lynda spiralina smoothies are just one small step away from adding spinach to your smoothie. I haven't even had one yet today, been too busy. Fruit salad seems to be the order of the week so maybe it is time for a change.
