is there anyone out there? Have been slack writing this week and now its October!!! Hope you are all fit and well. Am suffering with a sore ankle which had come right after chiro and heat therapy but helped shift daughter move on Saturday and there were about 20 steep stairs and oh my gosh, its so sore again!! After about 6000 steps on my pedometer in an hour (many up and down those stairs) and I just stood at the bottom with something in my hand and thought "I am not doing this anymore!" It was hard enough just driving home. Anyway 1st October already. Time to be on track.... Dylan and I planted some scarlet runners this morning in the rain waiting for the aerial man to come. There are some other seedlings to go in that mum got. The seeds husband planted last week are through - peas, beans, snow peas and lettuce. So we will see how they go.

Hello everyone WOW October, time is really flying. You have rain over there? What is that? We are so dry at the moment, and waiting for another dust haze to hit tomorrow afternoon. Not looking forward to that as I have a garden wedding to perform at 4pm in the country. We had a big dust storm last week, orange dust here in Brissy and red in Sydney. Everybody complains about the layer of dust intheir house, lucky for me I don't dust much so it just gave evrything an orange tone.

How much rain can I send you Jill? Been non stop all day. Cant complain we do need it as we rely on well water....I saw the news items on the red dust..incredible! Cant have made for pleasant breathing...another layer of dust here wouldn't have made much difference.... An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon Lynda..seventh in the Jamie / Claire series. If you havent read any of them I would recommend starting at the first one ..Cross stitch or Outlander as its sometimes called...the author comes to NZ next month on a book signing tour... Must go check the recipes and see if anythings new...

Well Jill, you are welcome to ours for a while, we are knee deep in mud again. I do get sick of wading through the mud and struggling when I get my boots stuck. Spent the weekend eating, but I am trying to talk hubby into doing the plan with me, he tells me (after watching me eat half a packet of large cookies by myself that he didn't want me to put on too much weight, you know he still wants me to be able to get into the kitchen to cook his meals he might never eat again if he is not careful. Anyway time will tell if you drops any or not. Lynda hope your ankle is feeling better, better slow down a little while you are in the injured list. Well done on the gardening.

hI tgere, Nice to see you are all out there. The pics I saw of that dust storm were amazing. We were supposed to meet with an exchange student host of husbands that week (he just wrote out of the blue after nearly 40 years and said "are you so and so....". He said when he got back to New Caledonia after being in Fiji that his house and car were covered in it. amazing really.
More veges planted on weekend and my scarlet runner seeds are up too. Its amazing howmuch the seeds Husband planted have grown over the weekend. I think Jack might be climbing upthem soon!!! Haha...
It was n ice enough to go for a walk yesterday and I reallyneeded to get out, but didn't go. had been up and picked some lemons on Sun morning and slipped on sore ankle by Dylan's swing - AGAIN!!! i HAVE my runners on today so I don't hurt it anymore. I am icing it and doing all the right things!!
Food... up and down... to go with my mood swing.
Finally lost iwt witht he bike yesterday. Went out to do something with it and it wouldn't go!!! Well I am sorry, I have been so good i just flipped at how many useful things we could do witht my kitchen or my storage blah balh.....

Ha Ha Lynda, you crack me up with the whole bike thing. Were you going to go for a ride? Sounds like it is good that you have flat shoes on today, mind you a sore ankle IS a good excuse not to exercise, and you can blame that on any gain you might end up with. Opps I mean of course you will lose anyway

Oh KM you so mean to me. But I can laugh at myself at my reaction. But if you saw the state of my house you would understand my self inflicted stress on my husbands expensive "toys"!!! But enough of that...
I did not weigh last night as my ankle just hurts too much to drive. Not looking forward to the drive to Penrose tomorrow (or the 5.15 am get up!!!) I wonder if I am only really feeling like going for a walk because I can't.......

Maybe that is the case, I always say be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Like wishing I had time to just sit and relax and then I smashed my foot up and could do nothing for four months. Not a good thing. You are probably not moving much because of your ankle and so your body is feeling the need to move. Tomorrow I promise will be kind to Lynda day.

Haha, KM so now you are feeling sorry for me!!! I am a survivor. I love him totally. He knows he will get away with it!!! Haha Anyway, ankle feeling a bit better today. Tried to get some more bio light treatment last night but fully booked. Have been wearing my runners to work so that has sort of helped I guess. I will survive this as well!!! Even the weather is a bit better right now, though I believe that will be short lived! Have a good day.

Gosh Lynda, don't be fooled Seems to have been a very busy week here, but my goodness it would be nice to have a week with no rain and let the mud dry out a bit. I have no cookies in the house so I have been eating moro bars and pringles, not so good, will try to do better today.

Hey KM I could take the moro bars off your hands.... I am a bit up and down with my eating, but feeling better about it all today. had a friend over for dinner last night who did the lemon detox for 10 days and lost 5.2 k. But no food - couldn't do it!!! Also, she didn't actualy really have 5.20 kilos to lose. She is slim and walks daily and goes to the gym a lot too. The no food for ten days is crazy. She loved our fettucini and mascapone with salmon and mushrooms!!! She loves my cooking which is great. Her and dylan had a great time. We started work together and so have been friends for 35 years!!!
Time to get back on track for us all. WE CAN DO IT..... wanna join me???

Yes I do, my problem at the moment is not committing to anything so I need to give myself a good talking to. I am finding that I start to lose and then go on an eating binge and put it all back on again, so not losing and not gaining not so good. Maybe we should get back to reporting our food, otherwise I might have to sign up for the on-line program again, and I can't afford that right now. Made the Beef and potato lasagne layered bake last night, it was really good, and I only had the proper serving size. It was big and filling so I really didn't need those moro bars etc, I wasn't even hungry.

Hello everybody
"Committing" nice to hear someone else saying that, I've chosen to call it "refocusing" after my 300g gain this week.
I must be putting out some amazing "feed me" vibes to everyone, as even my Mum brought a bag of jelly beans in the car with us when we went shopping.
So it is time to refocus, good choice of words also because I don't have my glasses on so please excuse any spelling mistakes etc.
Glad your rain has dried up, chook pens always have an interesting aroma after long rain periods.
The wedding went well, dust died down, heat died down and gave them a terific night for a party.
i am still on the online programme and will have to make it more of a priorty to report my food.
I hope you all take care of yourselves Talk again soon
