Hi there.  Weighed in. UPPPPP okay 1.3.  However, and I am not trying to say I didn't deserve it, but i did have rice and chicken and veges for lunch yesterday which is much heavier than my eggs and toast.  I thought 1 kilo.  Its down quite a bit this morning but some of that is fluid blah blah.  I have moved on and plan to lose the 1.3 next week and a bit extra.  I knwo I can do it - especially with your help.

Hows your cousin.  I have a very interesting article I got yesterday about asparagus and cancer.  Was going to post it here but not sure if I should.  Maybe I could open new topic and put it in there.  Its about the properties of asparagus and the amazing results cancer patients have had from it.  Total turn around.

Oh that would be interesting, our asparagus is now producing enough to keep me happy so that is all good.

1.3 Sad, still we all have weeks like that, so it is good that you are moving on.

Life goes on, and I hope you have resolved all those family issues

Hi there
Have been totally on track and my scales read same as I was last weekend now - now I just need to keep them that way.  Just had a kiwi fruit.  Had the dry horrors today and had 2 big cups of tea straight after lunch. Had salmon and ricecrackers for lunch.  I really enjoy them at the moment and they are a really good option so try and stick to them.  Have run out of crackers though i think so must bring some more to work yesterday.

KM I happened to press the wrong button yesterday and saw your webpage name so went and had a look at your pictures - so neat.  Didn't have time to dawdle as was extremely busy!!!  Its an amazing life style.  I admire you greatly.

Well better get back to work as I have plenty of it!

Well done Lynda, that will make you feel better. I must say that I am not following any plan at the moment (but probably should), I decided that I needed a break from all that bread and potato. These are two things that I don't normally eat much of, and with potatoes should probably not have at all really due to an intolerance of them. I have been having heaps of fruit, in my smoothies and I have discovered dressings for fruit salads that are so good. Way more fruit than Caroline would allow, and I know she doesn't approve of smoothies.

Thank you for your kind words Lynda, I had to wonder which website you went too, hopefully it was the blog, because the dream dolls site is not being used at the moment and I only keep it because it is too much trouble to change my email. Even the blog doesn't get an updated as often as it should and we have a bit of a backlog of stuff that we need to put on it. I have been thinking of adding some recipes but haven't got there yet, and I would have to be careful what I put on there.

Hello Everyone

Haven't talked for a while, things have been very busy.  In fact hubby and I have made a decision to stop trying any new projects for the moment and just stay on maintenance until things settle a little.  We are going to be buying a heap of flat pack shelving to try and get the house under control but that's about it.  Just gives us some breathing space.

It was good to catch up with your news.  It's a busy time of year for everyone, it seems.  Lynda your resolve encourages me.  I had a 100g gain after a 1.5kg loss.  The big loss was due to work issues and major stress I kinda knew it wouldn't last and the gain was comfort food reaction.  Oh well

Kiwismum, you have so much happening, you could write a book, you must have some very interesting and funny tales and you tell the ones here very well.

It was so good to see you on the forum.  Sorry I can't get on as much as I would like.

Jill after that big loss you should be patting yourself on the back for all the good work you have done so far. So you had a little gain, over all it is still a loss so not so bad, and you know where it came from so more power to you.

Thank you for your kind words about my blog, funnily enough Caroline told me I should write a book too, (but recently changed her mind as she got bogged down with her own new book). And other people have told me the same thing, but I wouldn't know where to begin or what to say. I also doubt whether I would have the dedication to see it through. But thank you anyway.

Hubby is working at home today, and we a planning a trip to the movies over the weekend, so popcorn is on the menu for then.

I am enjoying all my fruit and have actually lost some weight with it. So that is all good, finally got through my huge amount of Kiwifruit that  I ended up with, and I am kind of sorry to see it go. Luckily my cousin gave me some more gold when I had her kids on Sunday/Monday but I do prefer the green.

Lynda you will be pleased to hear that he smoothies are not so frequent now, but the fruit salads are featuring a lot, and no I don't put spinach in them  Confused

Oh no Spinach Popeye!!!! Laugh
I am not a great lover of "spinach" but love silverbeet.  Had some in the garden and came home the other day and husband had removed everything in the garden.  not that there was much but his reason for pulling out the silverbeet was that I wsn't using it.  Well needless the say the next day I was making lasagne for dylan and oops, no silverbeet!!  I even went to the compost bin but it was pretty munted!  He is planting more.  I don't like it heaps but love it in soups and lasagne etc and will use it as a main vege from time to time.

I feel very "heavy" today.  isnt that funny/strange.  I know why of course.
Oh the "new acquisiton" is being picked up tomorrow.  He had to come clean as I asked him to help with baby daughters shift.  He said yes but later when we were in bed he said there may be a slight problem with timing as he was picking up his new motorbike.  My only comment was "Yes, i already guessed you were upgrading your bike".  A stunned "Ooh" from the other side of the bed!!!
You would have been proud of me!!!  I was proud of myself.  However..... I will say something as there are things I need in the house that I feel are far more important than a motorbike that gets used maybe 10 days a year!!!
Part of his "make up self induced punishment" is he is coming to dinner at Mums tonight as my brother and family are over from Oz

Oh Lynda, you did very well.  I had to laugh.  Men are strange creatures some times, aren't they?

You have a terrific night with your family, it's alway good to catch up and I'm glad hubby is going too.

So he can pick up at least one thing on your list when he picks up the bike Yes

Well done Lynda, that is something to be proud of.

I am having a very lazy day while I wait for this storm to decide if it is going to hit us or not. The wind has picked up a bit, and I did feel a few spots of rain while I was milking Daisy, but that is it so far.

Miss Fussy is making dinner tonight as part of her its time you learnt how to cook thing, so I won't have to yay!

Been bad... moving on.
The move went okay. The motorbike is a motorbike. It's certainly different from his others. Not the usual sleek smooth lines. But it is still an expensive new toy!!

Moving on... moving on....
