Hi Jill, Glad the wedding went well, always good when things turn out right. I wouldn't say that the rain has let up yet, wish it would though. It is pouring down again today, and thunder storms are predicted. More mud to wade through I ate really well yesterday, no cookies, chocolate, chips or anything. In fact I was on plan all day about time too, will try to do the same again today. My new washing machine arrives today, the old one bit the dust, so I will have to get some washing done this afternoon before we run out of clothes. I guess the drier will have a work out as well.

Well done Lynda,
I had a smoothie for breakfast, no MT but that is normal for me. Lunch Vegetable bake with sour cream sauce, but then I was hungry and followed it up with a PB sandwich, so will miss one snack this afternoon. Dinner will be homemade F&C with coleslaw and salsa so all good really expect for the sandwich.

Had a couple of romps around the front lawn with dylan Sat and Sunday. Sat him in a tree and pxt him and sent it off to everyone saying "Help Ninny left me in the tree"!!! Cute pics! I hate it though that he instinctively knows where the well is and the pond!!! Have to watch him totally.

Hi, been away sick. Woke with the sorest throat I've had for years. thats gone and now i have a mixture of hayfever and flu stuff!! Gained 100 this week, but I can live with that. Eating been weird. Made bolognaise bake for dinner last night which was just lovely. Otherwise have just had egg toast and maybe a slice of bacon here and there. Didn't really want much but thought I shuld have something or would get myself into trouble!! Have had to start on the cough lozenges though!
On track.

Hello All
Lynda, I hope you had a wonderful holiday. Are you in NZ or over with me in OZ? Surfers Paradise is just down the road form me.
I've had that cold bug as well. Comfort food was my greatest friend, but I am back, REFOCUS again, one more time.
We maybe going to get some rain, so excited!!! Good weather for cooking and putting in the freezer. Well that's the plan anyway. I will have a four year old helping me.
I have a big wedding on Friday. First time with using a microphone and with somewhere around 100 guests. So my challenge this week is to control the nerves without comfort food( my useal choice ).
Can't wait to hear what you are all up to.

Oh Hi Jill, how was the wedding. Rescue remedy works better than comfort food and is less fattening!! Haha. I always worry about that and think you are immensely brave. I have to use "corrector green" stuff before I talk at anything or even go to parties as I am not a lover of group situations and find myself blushing or getting red and flustered. Corrector green is great it hides the redness - but you do have to put something over top of otherwise you just look like The Hulk!!!! Had a great weekend at surfers. I was very good and walked a minimum of 12000 steps a day - and on my sore ankle as well!! I can't remember when I consistently walked that many steps. My little tootsies are a little delicate today but I shall survive. Back to physio I think. Was really good food wise.- no snacking, good choices. However, I didn't make such good choices at Darrell Lea and bought quite a supply home with me!! I have given a bit away to the kids and a couple of friends. Oh and Mint Patties!!! Yum. So I will have my little treat and move on. The family will certainly eat more than there share, but thats what I want!! The weather was fantastic. The car racing was okay, the shopping was great and the rest was well deserved and just what I needed, thats for sure! Anyway, hope you back on track Jill and any others out there that are around......

Fantastic walking Lynda, sore ankle and all.
I haven't got into the walking as yet. Just can't seem to change my thinking on that, one day you never know.
Daryl Lea is always a challange. But over all I think you did well. You must have needed the break. Are you a rev head? Were you there for the car racing?
I am looking forward to more rain though. The old tanks are getting a bit low.
Food wise I am not doing well at all. Just can't seem to get it together at the moment. But I will get eventually!
you keep up the good work thought.

Hi Jill, no the petrol heads are the boys - I went for the break from home and shoopping!!! Both were great. Where are you again? I know I have been to where you are, but just can't emember where that is. I was born in Brisbane but parents are NZers and moved back here when I was 7. Don't praise me for my walking - it was only because I was out shopping Though I do try and do things that make me walk and must get back into walking up the road now I am home again. Wearing a pedometer really makes me aware of how little I do move around so it makes me try harder!! I guess the only thing I can offer with the "food" is to take each meal and try and it make it programme. I always have egg and toast for breakfast. Then I have had a thing for salmon and sakarta rice crackers the last few weeks and I have been really enjoying them. I actually had the rice crackers with cottage cheese and a drop of apricot chutney too lately which I thought YUK at originally but in fact I really enjoyed them. Mum made us coldl meat and salad on our return and then roast pork and veges last night so have a bit of cold meat lying around so tonight I think we will have corn fritters with cold meat or I might put some meat in them..... still deciding. Must away. Have a good day, make it better than yesterday!!!

Today is a better day, thanks. Met with some new clients today and they feel like old friends, strange how that can happen but it was fun.
I live in Logan Village, down Beeneigh way. Doesn't take too long to get to the coast from here now we have a huge motorway to travel down.
On my last weigh in I 90.1 kg. I think I've gained a whole kg since then. So I've decided that all I want to do is get under 90 kg. So that's it, if I can get that i will be very happy. It's been along time since I've been there.
It's egg or baked beans and toast for me for breakfast. Cottage cheese and apricot chutney sounds interesting. I'm making scone topped chicken casserole for tea tonight.
The family is home, time for a cuppa. Talk again soon.

Great work Jill. I see you have lost 5 kilos? Thats great. Even if you only lose a couple hundred grams those scales will slide down slowly and every gram off is an achievement. It doesn't matter how small, but it does matter!!!
As I said earlier I would like to lose 5k by Xmas and if I stick to plan even only 80% I believe I can do that!!! So 100% during the week with some mini slips on the weekend, that should be a good thing!! Haha. Off to the Dr tomorrow so he may have other things to say about that!!!

Good luck at the Dr. Lynda . Hope all is OK.
My Dr. doesn't say much anymore although I did get a smile and a nod when I told him I had joined a weight loss plan. he's been telling me for years.
Not much to jump about today.......gained 600g. Oh well time to do the duck, head down, tail up, move on.
i know you can lose that weight by Christmas, it's good motivation, especially with the heat, we will all feel so much better with a little less around the middle.
Off to run some errands, talk again soon
