Hi Lynda
Six more weighins...... I had not thought of it like that. Not sure if it's a good thing or not. Christmas seems to be here early this year. I'm sure it shouldn't be starting for another two weeks yet.
My weigh in was yesterday and Wahoooooo I've made it under the 90kg at 89.9kg. I haven't been there for I think three years and then it was fleeting. I was there for only maybe a week or two. Not this time, I may go up again a little but I know it will go down further.
Isn't strange that I want to celebrate with chocolate and chips. Habits are hard things to break.
Hope everyone has a good weekend

Hi all, Congrats Jill on breaking the 90kg barrier. I know that you can make that stick. Well done...I'm envious. My weigh in is tomorrow morning, following a big party here at my house for my husbands 30th tonight. Should be...challenging! I doubt if the 4 weekly indulgences I've saved up will cover the nights drinking, but hey we are allowed to splurge now and then! Right???!!!???? Cos otherwise I've been an angel all week1 Sunny

Hi there, well 500 down last night so that is great. How did your weigh go Sunny. Only 5 weighins now to go and then it is still 10 days after that till Xmas!! That is a little scary but we can cope! also I don't have much computer access over the holidays either, so I hope I cope okay going it alone. Have done it before can do it again.
Realy enjoyed the recipe last night and went and got everything I needed this morning. I shall make it over the next few days.
Back to work. I am feeling REALLY FOCUSED right now and what to stay on track right thru to Xmas. We don't have a lot of Xmas things and our Xmas party is the 18th December.
Have a good day. Would love to hear how you all going.

Hi all, Lynda, sorry to leave you hanging! I tried to reply twice before this and both times my laptop crashed just before i finished typing my reply. Fingers crossed i can get to the end of my message this time! I weighed in this morning, my third weigh-in so far. Today my loss was 2.7kg!!!! I'm stoked but i feel its well deserved as I've been an angel all week, again, always keeping within the allowances and walking nearly every evening. The walking is really working for me, I think because its something I love to do. I'm feeling very focussed too. I swear this is the last diet I ever start! My darling husband has loved all the recipes i've made especially the ones i did this last week...like sweet and sour sauages, chicken and celery stir fry, fettucine with ham, peas and mascarpone. Suddenly I'm a whiz in the kitchen. If you have any favourite recipes to recommend I would love to hear them. At the moment i'm picking and choosing from the recipe archive and carolyn recommended a lemon crispy chicken that i'm going to try next week. Don't know whether i mentioned this before but my goal is to lose 40kg, hopefully in time for my moving home to new zealand next september. It's great having a specific event to work towards, helping me keep focussed. I've also made a motivation wall in my office at home, pinnning up 'before' photos, a list of reasons why i want to lose weight, progress charts, quotes and some of carolyns great emails. This is also really helping cos it keeps my goal, my mission in front of me all the time. I'd love to hear whats working for you guys too. Hope your week went as well as mine. If not tomorrow is another day. Keep at, it will be worth it in the end.
Arohanui, Sunny

Wow Sunny you did fantastic this week!!! I too am looking for a good weight loss this week and have been very good. Will report in tomorrow morning. The worst thing about weighing in at night is watching stuff you have during the day. If I get thirsty its like "Oh, I can't skull a couple of glasses water I have weigh in later!!" However, that's life! Um, some of my fave recipes are: the fettucini and mascarpone but I use tinned salmon (my grandson loves it too - and I prefer to have as many fish meals as I can when I am being really good) Southern fried chicken is good - tastes like KFC but better as not greasy. Half the family like drumsticks baked in the oven and the others like slices chicken breast or tenderloins cooked with a little oil in the pan. We also have leftovers of it on pizza on Friday night. Actually it is the only decent protein son eats and he has it usually 3 to 5 times a week!!!) Chicken & Peach balsamic stirfry, however I make as a casserole so I can throw in and forget and I use leftovers for lunches or dinners when I don't want restricted protein like the others. I

Hi everyone Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. I am travelling with my Mum and Dad and I am finding it hard to get alone time. I am not following the diet as it is just too hard. Lynda what a terrific result. Keep going, girl. Weigh in at night must be very hard, because I am on line I weigh myself in the morning after hubby goes to work at around 5am and all I've had is a cup of tea. How do you cook the Sourthern fried chicken in the oven? Sunny, Excellent weight loss, you are doing very well. I have never, ever beengood at goal setting. I just try to take one day at a time. I wish I could see your wall, it maust be amazing. Anything that helps is worthwhile. The recipes are amazing, and like you my family think I am a genius in the kitchen. I must say I think it's pretty good too. We are staying with my Aunt and Uncle for a few days before heading on, so tonight I am making the fettucine, mascarpone recipe one. I hope it's not to rich for oldies but I think it will be fine. I am doing a little yoga for a little exercise and stress relief. I have no idea if I will be able to weigh in this week. Hey, who's going to start the "Oh WOW it's Deember" topic? Thanks for being there girls, it was wonderful to open up and see you there.

Hi ladies, Well done Lynda! Hope I can make as good a showing as that on Sunday. Jill, I was travelling just a few weeks a go and I found that if I still thought of each meal or snack in terms of allowances it helped keep me on track. Remember that you don't have to be perfect, you just have to be better (or as Lynda said, make better choices) than before. I keep a notebook where i keep track of allowances for the day and I like checking things off (it appeals to the list maker in me.) The wall of inspiration continues to grow. I'll try a take a picture of it this weekend so you can see what i'm on about! Busy couple of days coming up for me some i'm off to bed. Keep up the good work... Ciao for now, Sunny

Great work Jill on the 900g - excellent work. See, you must have made better choices. Just take it and run okay!!! I would love to see your wall as well Sunny. Oh, I wish I could be an organised person. Am working on it at the present time. I have "lists" in my head and I even write them down occasionally. I need an "organiser" and I have a couple of friends that would be great at doing so but am almost too scared to ask them to do it!!! Must dash, its home time, Yeh!!!!

Hi all, I'm here to celebrate! I just weighed in with a 1.9kg loss this morning. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! I'm so pleased. I've signed up for another 3 months with the online program since this is the first time I've ever managed to stick with a weight loss plan for longer than 2 weeks. It's really working. The walking and the exercise are definitely helping too. I feel great. I've taken a picture of my motivation wall for you but I'm not too sure how to post an image on here. Working on it. Well done Jill on your loss while travelling, it's quite a challnge isn't it. Catch you soon, Sunny
