Welcom Ninanana! - Cool name.
Are you a nana?
I am and my little one (2 1/2 now) calls me "Ninny"!  For some reason he couldn't get his lil mouth around Mini Nanny Dragon - so we have a family friend (used to change my nappies) that calls me Ninny when I have been particularly good (or particularly cheeky) so I just shortened it for my lil man to Ninny!!

Anyway, welcome here and join in.  Good on the 1/2 kilo loss.  I also used to reward myself with massages but time isn't always my own these days.  However, massage is high on my list of next things to do but it may need to wait till after my babies 21st as I feel a little broke just now!

Anyway, I will tell you - if you are doing the KISS diet - its fantastic and it certainly works WHEN YOU DO THE DIET!!! Haha....

Must away - chat tomorrow

Hello everyone,

I am back on deck!!!  My membership has run out but I am still determined.  Lost 1.5 kg.....gained 2kg.

Ah well, nice to be healthy again.  Took my fat little dog for a walk, they say dogs look like their owners, so if I get her to slim down the then so should I.  Of course it's actually DH's dog, hairy and cuddly. Laugh

Went for a walk up a bush track until it started raining and we thought we had better get back.  Really happy with that.  I didn't lose any weight,  I say I must be building muscle. Wink

We have had so much rain I am sure I am getting webbed feet.

Is it festival time over there?  I've never heard of the places you have mentioned.  Although it sounds pretty good.

One dangerous place for me is hardware shops etc.  They all seem to have charities doing sausage sizzles outside the front door where you can smell the onion and bacon cooking right through the store.  I try not to go there around lunch time so I won't be tempted, when I remember.

Hope to chat again soon. Cheers

Hi Jill.  You know you still allowed on here even if your membership has run out!

The shows are "agricultural" shows - though there are plenty of fun things and rides and stalls etc to go on.
Kumeu is on the northern outskirs of Auckland to the west on the way to Piha or Helensville.  I think KMs was at Dargaville which is 1 1/2 to 2 hours north of Auckland on the West coast as well - but the harbour or maybe they call it an inlet up there to the township.
When we first moved to where we live which is 10-15 minutes from Kumeu - it was definitely still farming and slowly going into lifestyle blocks. We had 16 1/2 acres which we did the chooks, ducks, lambs, feeding calves (I use the term "we" losely there I think it was all me!! and my 3 preschoolers!!) and hubby conveniently toddled off to work and left me to it!!  The population  virtually doubled within 9 months of us moving there - we had no idea it was going to be such a sought after area!!!
But the Kumeu show is great with all the animals and we did spend a lot on all sorts of "boy stuff" that my husband just had to have and useful stuff too like water pumps etc!

Well I think someone wants me to do some work - how unreasonable!!

Jill, I think the forum comes into it own when you going it alone. If you have to report to us, you will be more likely think twice before puttig the wrong thing into your mouth Yes

Lynda, well explained. How much land do you have now?

Evening ladies

Missing in action again Embarrassed SORRY

I missed last weeks class, was still at work at 8pm (not a happy camper, I can tell you), things are very stressful at the moment and I've had a shocker last two weeks Cry  And in typical fashion, I turned to food.  So imagine my surprise when I stepped on the scales fully expecting a gain, because after all, I'm up on my home scales and Carolyn announces that I'm 200 grams down.  That's 200grams down over two weeks, but hey, I'll take it.

I've got a bit of an incentive to get my A into G, I booked my holiday to Adelaide this morning.  So on 16th July, I fly out for 10 nights.  I'm really looking forward to it, my niece lives there and is expecting her first baby in May.  I've let her partner know I'm coming but I'm hoping to keep it as a surprise for her.  I thought I'd arrange to meet them at a cafe the day I arrive, hopefully Dwayne can get her there without arousing suspicion.  I can just imagine the reaction, oh, the language will be very colourful Yikes

Off to make lunch for tomorrow.  Hope everyone's having a great week

Hi there.
KM we still have 2 1/2 acres but mostly garden and home orchard.  I love it here but I would like a nice house now - we have the old original farm house so that is why the toilet is still on the well (and its totally dry)!  But I love the location.

I loved Adelaide when i went there in 2000 I think it was Swampy.  Its just lovely.  A lady that used to work with us lived there and we saw her and her husband and had a lovely lunch at Glenelg and their house and we went to the southern coast and round about with them but we also did some coach tours inland and a little 3 hours thing on the Murray river.  We always wanted to go back and get a houseboat for awhile.  Still might one day...

I have been good and my scales better be this good to me on Monday or ELSE!!! Haha...

Good morning

We have agriculture shows here.  Ours is in August, but they seem to be costing more and more to get into.  We go about every second or third year.

I had a binge over the week end.  Our anniversary,  the kids present was that they all went away for the whole weekend.  Wink  So we were good on Friday night but got bad for the rest of the weekend. Not being officially with "Weighinonline" anymore probably didn't help. Although we found that we can't eat the rubbish like we used too.  The body just didin't like it.

So i think, despite the added kilo or two, a successful week end in learning more about what we can and can't do anymore.

Monday morning has found me quite keen to eat healthier just so I feel better instead of sluggish and yuk  No Way

So I will be trying extra hard to keep up with the forum, reporting in, some days seem harder than others but lets give it a go.

Thank you ladies.  Have a really good day Smile

Hi there

So far a good day.  Did a very large shop in the hope of not going back there any time soon.  I was very good and didn't buy anything I shouldn've  except for a sausage roll cause I was so sick of food by the time I finished I didn't want to make a thing for lunch.

Corned beef for tea with moroccan vegtables, I have no idea how they will be but will give it a go for something different.

Back to the grind.  Talk soon
