Well I haven't got a cold as such just an incredibly sore throat, just hope it won't turn into anything major. My second day off work feeling miserable Hoping I'll feel better later, I'm suppose to have weigh in tonight but I'd hate to spread whatever I've got. Hope everyones week is going well, look forward to some reports

Sorry to hear your not well, Swampy. Just knowing you could be heading downhill is the frustrating part.
I have the snuffles but I think every second person has that in OZ at the moment our weather is sun with showers for the last 1 1/2 weeks and the next week.
Of course that gives the excercise of running back and forth to the clothes line. WOW That's FUN.
I have 4yo GD with me today and I so want to bake biscuits but am holding off the temptation. We will make pasta for dinner instead.
Feel better soon

My Mum's birthday today so we were a little relaxed in the food department. Aggod day was had by all and I am looking forward to a peaceful weekend even though it will mostly be cleaning and washing.

Hey Swampy, I hope you are starting to feel better by now. Nothing like feeling unwell to throw you off track.
Well today is our wedding anniversary so we went out for lunch. Now it is dinner time and we are not very hungry so will only be having a small meal tonight.

hI LADIES. It must be birthday and wedding anniversary times. Just celebrated 27th wedding anniversary which was great; birthday yesterday which was great and my youngest daughter is 21 on Thursday and having a party with her few friends (150) on Saturday night!!! I love it when I get to that "over food stage" - March is always a month of celebrations and this one has been no different except I think I have been more discerning in my food choices and amounts. If its only just "okay" or something that is not my favourite, well I tend to leave it. Usually!!! anyway. I didn't get to class last night but I was down yesterday morning. I shall return Monday for a weigh before Easter to keep me sort of on track over there!

Hello Everyone
It is such a busy time. Had hubby's birthday yesterday, have a huge family get to together on Easter Saturday. Food, Food Food...... Still,I am holding my current weight at present so I am pretty happy with that with all the temptations around me.
Still have trouble get the urge to walk. I am sure it would make a difference, but it may take awhile.
We had grubs get into or little corn crop. It was looking so good but soesn't look like we will get much from it. We didn't realize until it was to late. But the chikens are laying so that is good.
looking forward to hearing what everyone else is up too. Happy Easter.

Hi Jill, Pity about the grubs - our vege garden has shrivelled to nothing!!! I weighed last night in the hope that I wouldn't be too bad over Easter. I was up 900 which is to be expected with my birthday and my daughters 21st and her actual party. Doing the catering saves money put picking at the profiteroles and lolly cake and mini easter eggs is really a no no. I was good most of the time, but very bad some of the time - well 6 little easter eggs - the tiny choc ones is not the best but normally I probably would have had more!
Anyway, I have now done 1 and 3/4 full days of programme. Swampy I didn't report my gain on the other thing you started but I shall report all losses there!! Haha!! I might weigh at Glenfield next Wednesday. Will hv to check with the meeting is now!

Hi Jill Great you're holding steady, means you're doing something right Easter's a bad time for me, I just love marshmallow easter eggs so will have to be very restrained, which will be a first for me Hi Lynda As long as you enjoyed yourself at the parties, you can be excused your gain and you'll get rid of that in no time flat The Wednesday meetings are at the Baptist Church on James Street. I go to the 5pm class but there's a 630pm class as well. It'd be great if you made the 5pm class so I can put a face to the name I had a bit of a weekend at Hampton Downs, with my nephew racing so I'm hoping that tomorrows weigh-in will be kind to me. I didn't go over board on food so fingers crossed.

Hi Swampy, I actually weighed in at the 10.30 class as I have my grandson Wed night. I was down too from before easter!!! I think about 400 grams - but I do normally weigh at night, but it has refocused me and I have been very good. Lets hope I can keep it up during the weekend.
Spoilt myself with nice foot massage and back massage at the beauticians on Wed after the weighin as a treat. Friends daughter has started in Barrys Point Road by ie produce. It was wonderful!!!

Great loss Lynda, I gained, but we're back on track again
A massage sounds great, maybe I should give myself treats as the weight comes off and include a massage or two. Has your friends daughter set up her own salon? Always good when you get recommendations.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi Swampy. I do my rewards this way. yes my friends daughter has. I have always been very happy with all she does and she does have specials. Um, this is it
Chocolate and Frangipani Body Bliss.
* This treatment starts with a foot soak and scrub using the yummy chocolate body scrub by the Giovanni range. * You then hop into bed where your feet are treated and wrapped with a Frangipani Body Butter. * While your feet are wrapped, you will experience a relaxing scalp ritual head massage. * We move back down to the feet and massage in any remaining Body Butter into the feet, then turning you over you spend the rest of your time enjoying a back massage.
This treatment is a hour treatment and cost $60.00. If you are interested you can book 4891987 or come back to me. It was really lovely - and I got some great veges downstairs at ie - DELICIOUS pineapple and pumpkin

Hi everyone That treatment sounds fantastic. I melt just reading it. I imagine you must be absolutely fabulous after that. I must have a look around and see if anyone has it over here. My birthday's coming up. That could be just the thing. Not having much luck in the weight loss department. I have gained. I have lots of excurses I'm Not sure what to do about it. Feel a little like head banging against a brick wall. Can anyone tell me which repcipes are good for cook in the morning, eat at night. Hubby's Mum admitted to hospital so we are in and out all the time and eating lots of rubbish. So I need something at home ready for us and maybe something snack wise to take with us. I have alot of the recipes but just can't think straight at the moment, which ones would work best. Some help would be really appreciated. Have to tell you, I was performing a wedding ceemony on Saturday, knew in my head what I wanted to wear. Tried it on in the morning and couldn't wear it as the slacks were too big, tried a belt and had gathers right round my waist. Made my day!!!!! Sad part, they were my favorites. Oh well ,so sad! I might fit them again if I'm not careful!!! Talk again soon, Jill Talk

Hey Jill, don't despair, we've all been through the lows, God knows I've had my fair share and I expect I'll have some more but just remember those trousers, you MUST be doing something right I can't wait for the day when something is too big for me I probably can't give you any recipes that you don't already have, but do you have a crockpot (slow cooker), these are great to put on in the morning and the meal's ready when you get home. I did corned beef at the weekend but I often do a chicken or stew/casserole or a curry during the winter. It' especially good for home made soup. Mmm, I'm getting hungry Snacks you could try, well, this week, I've been taking to work some fresh celery and a little tomato salsa. I have in my desk a box of the Weight Watchers Apple Crumble Cereal Bars. I have one of these if I feel like raiding the snack box, so far a box is lasting me. So how about throwing one or two of those in your handbag and maybe an apple to ward off the hanger-pangs. Hope Hubbys Mum is on the road to recovery soon. And don't forget we're here when you need us Take care
