Hi Ladies,

I can imagine the relief with all the births behind you KM, theres nothing worse than waiting..its not as though the animals can tell you how they are feeling!  I remember what it was like waiting for the girls to deliver their litters, hoping you wouldnt need the vet, feeling a little guilty that you caused their pregnancy in the first place...thankfully never lost a girl and only had two c-sections in the 20 years or so of breeding..one was not needed, vet didnt check to see if any more pups where in the pipeline Smile

I am afraid I am hopeless at puzzles!   Embarrassed As soon as the weather picks up and with it work shall send them back to you.   I thoroughly enjoyed the new author and shall be looking out for more of her books.  In the past seven or so weeks must have read close to 15 books..one way to keep amused Smile

Despite the inactivity (and too many indulgences) the weight seems to have stayed stable...

Lynda, you are doing well, must take some determination to keep going to the gym...and a good weight loss!  You should be proud of yourself.  Weather here too swings between rain and sun but its the wind thats the tiring part..thankfully have had no power loss (shouldnt say that, its tempting fate) Roll Eyes

Hope all is well, bye for now. Smile

Hi there,
Well have been attending the gym and am so pleased with myself.  Even pushing myself to do a little more each time!   Yes

Wow no wind last night but it was shocking in Auckland yesterday. Went into the gym at lunchtime and was pleased with myself for braving the weather and the roads and by the time i came out there was hardly a cloud in the sky!  Have my next training session tonight for some weights.  i watched one of the girls the other day being shown them and i am thinking "i don't think so!!! Laugh

How did the session with the weights go Lynda?  I would love to try something like that.  Weather here is much the same, we have fine sunny spells, then winds so strong you just about get blown over...and of course as soon as you hang the washing out if the wind doesnt blow it away it rains!  Could be worse...

Hope the weekends going well....

Hiya  Smile
Well I amazingly survived the weights. Started some lunges with them and the trainer helped with the stretches for the appropriate body parts after each set of exercises which was great. After the  lunges sat on the big ball and did some chest pulls, more stretches, lying on my back on platform with some weights pressing upwards, and some ab work out with one of the big balls.  It was funy as it wasn't that bad when I was doing the last one, but i felt clumsy, but when I knelt down Sat arvo to play with dylan on his car mat, boy did i know i'd done an ab work out!
Was at the gym this morning at 6.45 and worked really hard on the xtrainer and the bike i hate! then did the circuit - I was impressed with myself at how hard i worked!!  Angel I love the treadmill as its not as hard a work out for my yuk legs but the xtrainer and bike sure make me know i'm alive!  Laugh

Weight in tonight.  Had a bit of a messy weekend but tried my hardest. Had an unexpected extremely distant rellie from Ireland ring on Sunday and went and picked her up - not that i'd ever met her or known about her until Thursday!!  But it was lovely.

Hope the weigh in goes well Lynda, you deserve a good result.  Its good to see the weather improving...have weeded a couple of small gardens and put in a extra few steps on the pedometer the past few days....still not doing the full walk I used to do..feel I could if I wished but just waiting to get the okay from the dr...have also managed to stick to a good eating plan so giving myself a pat on the head for that...

How are the new four legged babies KM?  Hope all is going well with them...

Oh well off to check out any new recipes...bye for now Smile

Well you both are doing so well.

I have not had much time lately to think too much about food or anything else, I keep thinking that that is all about to change, and eventually it will, it is just a question of when.

The new calf is proving to be a challenge, she has an adventurous sprite and keeps wandering away and getting lost. I live in fear of her climbing through the electric fence and falling into the creek. Cute does not excuse naughty behaviour.

Won't even talk about my eating at the moment.

It will improve, and staying the same is still better than a gain.

Blame it on the muscle gain Wink

How is the rascally calf KM?  Perhaps she will be too big to fit under the fence soon?  or does she have a high pain threshold and just ignore the Zap!  Braver than me.....

And snap Lynda!  Last week I weighed on Monday, I tracked every mouthful all week, counted every step on the pedometer and this Monday stayed exactly the same!   So this week all rules are relaxed...just finished off a slice of the cranberry date banana loaf I made last night, bit bland bit okay..

So glad the weathers improved the grass is growing and work is coming in again...life is looking better Smile

Thats good Yvonne, things will be back to nomal before you know it.

The calf is getting better, she now runs towards mum so she is a little easier to find. She is also drinking more so has to stay closer to the milk bar in case of starvation Laugh Laugh Laugh

I have been completely forgetting to weigh in on wednesdays lately. I keep meaning to but buy the time I remember it is too lang after weighin time. I will hopefully get there next week, although I don't think I will like the results.

Hiya.  Been silly. Annoyed at self. Just can't seem to stop it!!!  Just as well I have been going to the gym otherwise the scales would be horrific. All lollies and chocolate!!!
Hve been unwell this week and had the day off on Tuesday and slept till midday.  Ended up having to rush to work for some messy settlements at 3, but that was okay.
Went to the gym Sunday and Monday but havent felt up to it but back after work tnight with my last training session that was included in the package.
Have my rehab friend for the day tomorrow - have to go to an AA meeting with her in the morning. I might sit there and think about it being a chocoholics and sweetaholics meeting!
I think I could be back on track.  As I have been unwell not being "prepared" for my lunches etc makes a difference to what i do during the day.
This morning i threw tog some cottage cheese, cranberry sauce and cranberries. Its sort of a xmas recipe that Carolyn made last year but she put in mayonnaise and hard cheese too - I just like it with what i do now!

Okay confession over. Hopefully it will help purge my system of craziness

Glad to hear all is well with the calf KM, for me these past few weeks its catching up with grooming and baths for my critters.   And I have found old Sara really likes a dog biscuit I have been making so have been making extra batches for her, poor old frail lady she deserves treats Smile

Made some lemon honey this morning and thats gone down well with my other half.   Weather here has been SO windy!  but also sunny and wet, had an unexpected frost this week that nipped at the heads of the early tomato plants, never hurt the potatoes so thats good.

Do hope you are feeling much better Lynda.  Its hard to plan food when you just dont feel like eating..unless its comfort food Smile   I managed to spend an hour the other day weeding my much neglected main garden, so thats a quarter of it weeded.. amazing what one finds under the weeds all last summers plants that have seeded and grown.  Hope you are back on track with your training and that its going well.

Bye for now.

Hi there.  Yes back on track.  Regular visits to the gym.  I was scratching my arm last night and thought "whats that" and realised it was a bit of muscle under the skin and not flab!!! Progress  Laugh
Have had a lolly and chocolate free week and the scales show it. Now I just need to keep it like that for wieghin on Monday.  Most of the class are doing really well and there are some great losses.  Obviously doing the diet which is just great.  It better be me on Monday!  I know, its up to me and I shall be working hard at it.

Some sunshine here and been quite warm - i think i can safely put the firewood away but maybe i will leave it till labour weekend, just in case!

Be happy. chat soon
