Hi everyone, as you can see I have nothing better to do at present than sit here and update my recipe file Smile   I was wondering if the curried vegetable and lentil soup could be frozen...has anyone tried this?  I cant see why it would not freeze successfully but thought someone may have already tried.  A recipe that sounds just right for my winter lunches...I know the rest of the family will go Lentils!! you have got to be kidding! Roll Eyes  No Way  but they are all old enough to cook for themselves Smile

Hi Yvonne,

Can't really answer your questions. None of my fussies would eat the soup, but it does sound like it would freeze well.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi  Howdy and I hope the new year is treating you well so far.

Ours has been a challenge so far, but hopefully that is not an indicator for the rest of the year.

Thanks kiwismum,  none of my lot would/will even try it so will be just for my lunches come winter..if I make it and freeze a couple of portions seems a good idea.  Will make a change from the vegetable soup which I tend to live on.

Thanks to the rain our new year has improved immensely!  The drought conditions meant no work..not a good situation...otherwise life ticks on much as normal.  Our eldest dog becomes more frail by the day but she is hanging in there, she saw her 16 1/2 year old birthday in December so we take each day as it comes.

I do hope any problems you have had are small ones and soon put to rights...life certainly does challenge us at times..quite unfairly too Sad  Do hope all is well with you and the family Smile
