Hi Ladies, have looked through the kk books but cant find where broad beans fit into the scheme of things.  Are they a carb or a protein?  Not a vegetable I am crazy about but have a bag sitting in the freezer so must use them up.
Thanks to anyone who can help,  Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,

Sorry I haven't written any thing for ages but life has been busy! I was avoiding housework before my darlings!! arrive home from school and I need to do the sports run.

I found broad beans in the middle age spread diet book and they are listed as a protein along with chickpeas, haricot beans, kidney beans, lentils, Lima beans and split peas.

In this book you need to know what type you are but Type A = 180grms B = 210grms C = 240grms. I don't know if you can find out more by going on Middle Age Spread Diet on the computer.

Good Luck, will talk more soon.

Well, that shows how well I looked Smile  Thanks Sue, thats 180 grams I can have...not sure I would want that many but may add interest to a lunch time salad.  Thanks again.
