Ok so there were getting to be a lot of pages on the other thread so time for a new one.
Whew what a weekend, we had a birthday party, a silver wedding anniversary party, dog sitting, and a dinner party.
Luckily I got some exercise too, a barn dance and I got half of my lawns mowed.
The dogs get picked up today so things should get back to normal soon, although I have to be in three places at once in an hour.
How did everyone else go over the weekend.

Oh wow, if all that activity didnt burn some calories nothing will  Sounds as though you had a wonderful time. No walks for me this weekend, food intake was sort of okay, did get hours of digging over the garden in, cutting down old stuff, pulling things out, planting bulbs but the scales where up a few hundred grams this morning so will try and track every thing I eat this week and get in as long a walks as possible, weather allowing. Tried the new sausage recipe that was posted in the last couple of weeks, used pre cooked sausages cause thats all I had in the freezer and recipe turned out well..instead of putting it in the oven just cooked it on top of the stove..and added my greens to the recipe ...so worth trying. Basic recipe did two adult dinners and two lunches for my other half so didnt overeat there. Bit grey and foggy here this morning but must go do some work...

Good on you with the gardening. The activity sounds good, but don't forget there was a lot of eating as well and not all if it good. Haven't jumped on the scales for ages so I have no idea where I am at, but would not be surprised if I was up - too bad  Weather is great here today so I will try to get into the garden for a bit.

Hey guys! I am still here, but just getting on with it all. Managing (at LAST) to take control of my silly self and just do the damn diet. When I get tempted by things that would get me to stray (LOTS) I chant my new little mantra... "THAT IS NOT WHO I AM" and it is really working. YAY! Try it you might like it!!  Lovely to see you all back posting again.....I was confused as I had no "reply" button to push and so I just left the lounge so to speak,  but then I noticed it makes me log back in even though I have told it to let me stay logged in.  So.....how goes it with you all? Cheers! (with soda water, LOL) Nan.

Hey Nan,
Odd that you have to log in each time, I just stay logged in and it just works. If you are having problems Carolyns tech guy is very good.
Good on you for doing the diet, you keep up with your mantra.
Finally remember to jump on the scales on weigh day and I was down 900g Yay. Now I just have to keep moving in that direction.

Hey KM that is wonderful... 900....it pays to weigh I think. I don't know why I keep having to log in again but it doesn't happen all the time..........I weigh in tomorrow.......will send progress report. I watched Carolyn's latest wee video today about the added things we eat (like "cook's perks") and there i was with bits of that "Symphony" cereal (from MASD) I had just made, in my gob!! ......LOL. Some had stuck to the tray so of course I had been dislodging them. Told C I think she must be psychic! Grin.  Nan.

My horoscope is very pertinent too.....HOOT! So, I lost 700 this week at LONG last and I am back to where I was after my first week back 3 months ago....DUH! BUT, I ahem lost 2.2 altogether so, chanting, chanting! THAT IS NOT WHO I AM!! Sorry to shout but I need to.  I am really on to it. Whew! Have a great weekend, guys, and as C suggests don't think diet think we just need to eat for SURVIVAL! Love Nan.

We have finished another party, all I had was a piece of cake. OK so that is not such a good thing, but I didn't have much else other than a few carrot sticks dipped in hummus.
Three more weekends of party's to go before we get a weekend off. This is getting very expensive present wise.
It is not normally this pad but we have had a housewarming and a baby shower thrown in this year.
Next weekend another birthday and the babyshower.

I know..the party thing is the hardest...we have a very sociable neighbourhood and of late I have just given up and eaten my way through....I do feel my thinking changing which is a relief...so instead of being afraid of parties etc, I am relaxing and deciding to enjoy without going nuts! Getting there.  Off for a walk now......good weather at LAST! Nan.

I don't stress too much about party eating, so that is a good thing. I just try to make some sort of adjustment in my non party eating for that day so that I don't over eat too much. Sharing with friends and family is way more important than the food.
I had a good day yesterday, got in my exercise, and since I have been feeling like a little something sweet in the evenings I made an apple and rhubarb crumble. That should see me out the week and can double as a breakfast as well.
It is warmer here today so I should be able to go out and mow the lawns before the rain hits again.

You are wise, KM. I have let the stress of my stupid thinking get in the way of enjoyment these days. I am talking to myself constantly with positive messages. We are going out to lunch with a friend tomorrow and instead of doing what I have been doing and saying the hell with it, I have a PLAN!!!  Nan.
