Why thank you Ms. KM......I have been suffering from a huge dose of diet burnout after 50 years (yes!) of either dieting or eating ridiculously....well, not that bad but most of us here can relate.....it is so good to get the "feeling" back that I can do it.....little engine that can!

:-)

Well nan you most certainly can.

Just don't think of it as a weight loss plan, but rather a better eating plan. No foods are not allowed but just need to be managed. That way you don't feel like you are missing out.

It is also not a race to the finishline.

You are so right........survival is what it is.....we just need to eat to survive adn we can eat so very well.  KiwiKiss is how we have eaten for many years...it is the in between bad stuff that has put the weight on me.
NO MORE!

Yep it is always the inbetween stuff.

In saying that I baked for the first time in ages today. Mr Fussy has eaten all my crumble so I will allow myself a piece of slice tonight since I haven't got around to making any more yoghurt yet.

Just have to keep it under control

Hey!  How did the slice taste? YUM.  Not quite sure how a slice of slice equates with not making yogurt though. Laugh

Lost another 500 so quite pleased with self.

Keeping on keeping on, me.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Well done on your loss.

As for the slice, it is always yummy. I would normally have yoghurt and fruit for something sweet, but haven't made any yoghurt so had slice instead. Not really a good substitute but thats the way it is sometimes.

Hope everyones weekend went well?  Had a couple of walks and managed to beat the rain...the sky is so threatening and we are getting rain like I have never seen here before.....one minute it is sunny and the next everything turns black and down comes the rain.  HMMM......

Keep on keeping on, loungers!

Cheers!

Hi Ladies, today it has rained but cant complain as until now weather has been great.  had to forgo the walk and use the treadmill (which I find so boring) but better than nothing.  I dont mind getting wet but wet longhaired dogs are another matter.

What is the slice you mention KM?   I tried the KK ham and potato soup tonight and that went down well, okay, not with my daughter but thats another matter.

You are doing well Nan, hope all is still going well....

I am on to it I think..thanks for asking...lost another 900 this week. YAY!   Angel

Cheers!

Right I think we have finished with all the big events for this month.

Last one last night, and I even turned down the wine. I am just partied out for now.

We have two next month and only two in August and then a complete break for a while.

Now I have a couple of weeks to drop the extra weight I gained with all this, so I will have to work hard at it.

Nan way to go on your loss, you are doing great.

You do have a wonderful life, KM :-)  Partied out? How lovely.  We have 2 birthdays this month (me and the old fella) so will have to be on to it....also a neighbourhood midwinter pot luck dinner. Son and his partner have asked us up to her weekend place for lunch.  All good and lovely.  I am after all in charge of what I put on my plate and thence into my gob!!!

Next month off to Oz to look at gorgeous grandchildren and maybe coincidentally their equally lovely parents, so there will be lots of chasing and walks etc.  I wish I could bottle this feeling when I GET IT and just do the damned diet!!! I'd make  Yes a fortune.

You sound like you are in for a fun time over the next month. You go girl!

I have been talked into making a quilt for a friend who is having a baby next month. Her step mother-in-law lives two doors up the road and kind of sprung it on me in the weekend. So we have just been down and picked the fabric, and now I have to put it all together. A bit more warning might have been good. I have just spent quite a lot of time designing and making a nappy bag for her. Oh well I will just have to put my stuff on hold again.

I have stuck really well to the plan today so that is a good thing, I still have to make the soup for dinner since I decided that was what we were going to have. I have only got as far as making the stock so far today. I did make the Vegetable bake for lunch, it is one of my favourites and because it makes two servings that will be my lunch for tomorrow as well.

So all good today yay for us.
