I think that's probably because some of us haven't experienced it for a while  Tongue I did realise over the weekend that if I have any hope of losing this excess I need to completely ban chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows from my house - sorry kids!! Anyway, today is the day I will endeavour to eat better  Roll Eyes Wish me luck  Laugh

Okay I'll start the weight loss stuff.

My weight this morning was 81.3. I can't believe how difficult that just was to type that  Embarrassed Anyway, I have reset my goal and am thinking to get under 70kgs will do me. 12 kgs is the ultimate goal, with 4kgs being the first mini one. I made a pot of pea and ham soup last night and that is what is for lunch today. Perfect for this weather - fine but freezing. So this is it, I'll be saying  No to the biscuits and cakes and chocolate that seems to find it's way into my hands and  Yes to the size 12 jeans in my drawers.

Happy KISSing everyone  Kiss Kiss

Cheers

Yes You go girl. We have the power within us, we just need to want it bad enough to make it happen.

I was 72.2 on the scales Sunday morning Yikes Just goes to what lack of self control can do. I hope I didn't leave Cheryl with everlasting bad habits. Have not been on the scales again since. Too bl**dy scared. Have polished off the last of the peanuts left over from hubbies 'guy' night watching the rugger. They did leave potato chips behind, but they are unopened. So just may be a lovely boss, and distribute them to staff. So far have been pretty much on track, except for the dip I ate with my carrot sticks. Big Eyes My aim now is 65kgs, so 7.2 is my hippo scale.
So will be bringing in the food :police: and posting Troll signs mentally. And skipping my little heart out.........literally Angel

Bother - I just lost my post Mad

I stayed the same last night - which I am pleased with  Angel

Just have to remember 300 grams per week Idea slowly but surely.  The problem with me is that I am a hiss and roar type person - too impatient.  Just want to wake up skinny.

Hopefully will have a quiet weekend.

Hope you have all warmed up - it was a bit chilly this morning.

Daisy - good for you for being the same - hard to do when the weather is colder and you are out being social.

I was on a bit of a pigout bender over the weekend and my scales say + 2kg  Big Eyes

Not all of the eating was enjoyable either - had a good time away with friends at the weekend and had a couple of meals out, baked them muffins a couple of times which was the nice social eating that enhances your life. But was also doing the sneaky eating that makes you feel bad - clearing the muffins away by eating them rather than finding a tin to put them in, having chocolate on the way home from the supermarket, hiding sweet wrappers under the pillow when I was lying on the bed reading a book - not good. Need to put a zip int it Zipped

Anyway, have got out the big ruler, hit myself over the head with it then drawn a line under that result. Back onto the KISS program. Will be checking out the 'What's for Dinner' thread as my usual stir fries aren't quite enough in the winter!  Chef

Enjoy your good eating this week everyone  Angel

Welcome to my world. Been there, done that, can really relate.. Just did that 2kg thing while we were in Auckland. Laugh Sometimes think I do it now because I think I can get away with it and to show people "look what I can eat".............doesn't work.  Furious Big Eyes Furious This is a lifetime commitment, but isn't it funny how new habits are harder to form than old habits are harder to break. Talking about confessing the BAD habits, I remember a time when I would get a yummy treat from the Sugar Juice
cafe (great place) but I would buy three, one to eat on the way home, and then one each for Mad Bull and I to have at home. Not any more!!!!!!!!!!! Troll

You have been busy, love you're new dog. What's his/her name?
And I don't believe you! But they do make this slice called dream bar that is just divine, and when everyone comes to visit me in The Naki, I am taking you all there to try some..............or one of their other yummies, they make great Coffee, but have to admit I had the best coffees while I was in Auckland, and top prize goes to the one we had at the Sky Tower

Mad Dog - what did you expect  ??? We don't have the reputation of being latte layabouts for nothing you know  Laugh MK Jnr had a school trip to the Sky Tower yesterday and when I asked him how it was he said he couldn't remember  Yikes Perhaps he should have had the coffee and dessert. It's obviously alot more memorable than what he did  Coffee

I had to google Frolic - I like to know the best cafes all over Auckland and hadn't heard of this one. They have a website and the cafe looks fab - will need to plan a Friday trip to that end of town  Coffee Love Coffee

Am a cappucinno chick rather than a latte layabout  Tongue

Mad Cow - I'll definitely be in for a dream bar the next time I make it to the Naki - can't wait to sit in the upholstered bath in the Sugar Juice cafe (yup - I googled it too  Afro )

Woody - don't know if the North Island is ready for you!  Roll Eyes Tongue Roll Eyes Tongue Roll Eyes Tongue
