Mad Cow - when you order Priscilla tickets on the internet you tick the option for them to hold your tickets at the box office at the theatre so they don't get sent to you. That's what I did - saves the courier fee too! If I remember, I'll ask at the box office if they usually have tickets for sale on the night so if you get there on time you can just rock up to the theatre.

The show starts at 7.30pm - think it probably finishes about 10. Are you staying in town or close to the airport?

Let me know if I can help out with anything you want to do.

Love Angel Skinnydog, you are such a sweetheart. Thank you for all the info.
I lied Scared we fly up on Wednesday and out on Thursday. Was getting a bit ahead of my self. We have accommodation in one of the airport motels. Jet something or rather.
Don't get back in till 6:30pm the day we come home, so might be cutting it fine. Especially if we get held up going through customs Pirate
I will wait and see what you thought of it Wink and just proably play it by ear.

Hello - I'm back!!

I have just had a fantastic weekend away - probably more so for me coz NO ANXIETY  Scared I'm getting there!  Big Smile we did a school make over at this little school near Kaikohe - only 6 classrooms  Big Eyes The community spirit was incredible. Everyone worked really hard and the end result was magnificent. The diet, unfortunately, wasn't  Cry Friday was good, even though it took 3 hours to get to Whangarei - the first half hour just travelling the 5km to the motorway from our place  Yikes We stopped at my S.I.L. place for dinner and had this gorgeous glass of Shiraz which turned out to be on special at New World for $8.99 - half price. I now have "several" bottles. Thoroughly recommend it if you like red wine - Mclarens on the Lake 2006  Drunk

We have decided we need to go to Kerikeri for Xmas this year as it may be the last year hubby's parents sre there. Checked out a really nice place to stay (I can't do the in-laws for that period of time  No) so am now really looking forward to it - nothing like a bit of forward planning  Haha

Scotty a Friday frolic sounds great - you've got my number so just yell out.I can't wait to hear about Priscilla. We are going the week after next - on a Tuesday. Talk about your worst fears visiting upon you  Haha Me of the "I hate going out late in the middle of the week" has had something on for the last 2 weeks and has something on for the next 3, in the middle of the week  No I think it's great actually - getting back to the good things in my life but leaving behind all the crappy issues. I'm reading this book that I think is working wonders on my attitude. It's all very metaphysical - "I think therefore I am" sort of stuff but I'm a believer  Ninja (I know this one doesn't match but I like it  Haha

Mad Cow if you and the bull are at a loose end you know where we are. Speaking of bulls, on our way to Kaikohe yesterday we passed a bull (actually a steer) trying to mount a cow. David yells out to the kids "look at the cows having a piggy back" I pointed out to him that he should remember they were city kids and saying things like that just opens up a whole raft of questions that I could well do without having to answer at 8.00 in the morning  Irked Master MK wanted to know why they were having piggy backs and I just said coz the were bored with playing leap frog  Yes

Okay that's it from me. I have to go do some grocery shopping now or we won't be having lunch tomorrow.

Jester Welcome back. That's wonderful stuff Tracey. What is the name of that book? You are coming along in leaps and bounds. Kiss Kiss Kiss You must be so proud.

May just take you up on that offer, not sure what's happening yet. Get into Auckland about 3pm, Staying at one of the stop over motels in Mangere (?, spell check's not going to know that one Laugh)
Few of Mad bulls friends are in the same motel as us, but we will be spending the whole next week with them. Lovely eligible bachelors (nudge, nudge, wink wink, DAISY!!!!!!!!!) Haven't seen them in loin clothes though, so can't guarantee anything in that department..........could be why they are still single.
Lol at the piggy back incident!
How was the show Skinnydog?????? Dying to know.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It's pretty bleak here in Taranaki............but I don't care........I'm going to Fiji. nahna na na na Tongue
Actually, I have been on a real downer. Absolutely disgusted with my weight. Was still at 72 this morning. Moaning and groaning coz I'd blown all my hard work. This was the event that got me started (The wedding in Fiji, that is) Then got TTOM early (blew my chance to use wonder pills, grrrr) but that helps explain 'some' of the weird behaviour.
Then had a talk to myself (as you do when you are sad like me Cry) And decided to bl**dy well enjoy my holiday. At least I'm not trying to find a swim suit to flatter my 110kg body that I once was. ..................does my bum look big in this.....................you Bl**dy betcha it does Haha Haha Haha Haha Haha Haha Haha
And look at all the wonderful new friends I have to moan too. Jester

Am very envious Mad Cow of your holiday Alien (closest I could find green with envy)! I love Fiji Cool

Thanks for thinking of me with the single boys - as I tell my work colleagues I am available for parties etc.  Let me know if you think any of them are suitable for me.  I can always come to the Naki for a holiday.  Last time I went to Fiji I was probably 15kg lighter than I am now as was worried what I looked like then.

Well done MollyKate on your weekend Wink  You have every reason to be pleased with yourself. Angel

Off to the gym tonight Angel

When I first read Mad Cow's description of her husband's friends I thought of you Daisy - sounds like a match made in heaven - you growing up on a farm and them being rich - perfect!!!

Don't you need to go and give something (anything!!!) to Mad Cow at the airport just when all the mates are around. Failing that we could start a 'Send Daisy to the Naki' fund to get you a flight down there after their holidays  Queen Heart King.

Mad Cow - just how many single men are you going on holiday with  Yikes Big Eyes Yikes Big Eyes Yikes There are never any spare ones in Auckland  Frown

We could change this to a match making site.
5 guys that I can think of off the top of my head. Can't count the groom, even though he is still single at this stage Haha Did I say that Mr Bull is best man. And the guy was our best man.....................over 15 years ago. I tell you they are slow outa the traps down here. Lucky my hubby met a very forward.....................thinking woman like me. Afro Party at Mollykates Party Drunk Party Drunk Party Drunk

Looks like I am going to be having visitors at the motel, so will have to take a rain check MK Cry Cry Cry

I'll catch up with you at the wedding {Daisy's one} ROFL.

Did you know that we call our cows Daisy's for slang. As in,  Have you moved the Daisy's yet, or Can you get the Daisy's in? Now that's coincidence Detective.
And yes, Daisy would have been much better if you were coming to Fiji. Holiday romance and all that.

But seriously, the best looking one won't be there. But they all have great personalities Haha Haha Haha Heard that one before.  Wink  But at least they are all our age.

Anyway would be just lovely to catch up with anyone. Do we want to do dinner?
Have cell phone numbers, so I will be in touch when we get there. Might see if I can get to MK's for a coffee when you finish work. Will text ok?
