Hello girls,
Woodpecker here...still need to get around to changing things but Rome wasnt built in a day they tell me! Have been absolutely flat out at work, no time even for a sneak peek on here....and have to load this new site onto the work computer too! Shall have to wait for a quiet time...but doesnt look like it is going to happen in the near future....all or nothing my job I tell you.
There seems so much to read on teh various things and gets a bit confusing (not to mention time consuming...but less time to think about food I guess) so I am pleased to see you start chatterbox Sue...great idea....well done. You are really a lovely woman, you have achieved miracles with your weight, you look absolutely stunning so dont be too hard on yourself....keep up the skipping and you will get there.....I am not saying it is okay to go off the rails....NO MORE!!! :police: :police: Otherwise I am going to have no option but to demand that you confess all that you eat every day!!! and how would that be for accountability....please read above in the playful tone in which it is intended!!! (being the assertive chicken and all!)
I am feeling rather inspired and have been sooooooooooo very good

you would be proud. I have even gone back to tracking...how angelic is that??? (Humble is not my middle name)...but today the nurse manager had muffins for afternoon tea...and I ABSTAINED!!!!!
But came home and devoured my 5 o clock toast with peanut butter and mashed banana...oh how delightful!!! I just love this diet so much when I am good and on track....I have decided to really bite the bullet and get back to where I was last year when I lost those 11 kilos!!! No alcohol for the month of June and NO CHIPS AT ALL!!!! So far so good!
My new motto is "let go of perfectionism" .....got to start letting a few things go and stop sweating the small stuff! and after reading that book HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB I have discovered that striving for perfectionism (which i probably do unconsciously a lot of the time) can lead to lots of stress and unhappiness etc...so watch this space for the new me!! tee hee.... :o :o
MK (seems so impersonal) but you know who you are..... good girl for stepping out of your comfort zone...well done and keep up the good work...!!!Hope you have a great time tonight....when does your walking bus start?
Oh yes, I walked for 20 minutes last night at 6kms/hr. Walked 2kms and burnt 94 calories...whatever that means, but it said so on the treadmill....back is feeling buggered today, but may go and do a few sit ups to get rid of the serious MIDDLE aged spread!!! May even do a few skips!!!! :D :D after a wee!
Welcome to all the new people....may this board go from strength to strength! And a special hello to all the original gang, I feel like I am missing you all madly!!
Anyway, going to join my hub in front of the fire for a short time...work up some motivation for exercise

I do like all the new smileys...thanks admin for a great job!
