No We ended up having KFC. Shocking I know. I think it's the first time I've had it since before KK. Never was my favourite anyway. It took us twice as long as we expected to take the cat to the cattery. So was running late..........again.
I had the twister so hopefully that wasn't too bad.

I am trying to think what we had for dinner.... brain cell is completely dead. I was going to say neutered, but that's just too much puppy on the brain. Hmmmmm......

You know, I can't remember at all..........

What was it?

Ah yes! Zucchini slice (which has eggs, zucchini, carrots, and a little bit of cheese but divided amongst five people, it's barely worth counting) with broccoli and peas alongside.

It was going to be Beef Olives ala Kiss but hubby is out and the kids wouldn't eat it. Actually they might  Big Eyes maybe I'll try them on it coz it's really what I feel like.

Lunch today was chicken and peach balsamic casserole (not stirfry) with rice.  I always make extra for my work lunches as sandwiches just don't do it for me. Often put it with a baked potato in microwave at work.

Dinner is fish in flour and herbs - um not sure of its technical name!  Am going for a chicken/fish week so I can have a good weighin next Monday!!

Enjoy your dinners

This wasn't for dinner, but it is food!!!!!
Yesterday I made the Jamaican banana loaf, but I doubled the dates and bananas, and the butter, so the KK allowances became 1 fruit and 1 fat (instead of 1/2) Made it in a cake tin (oblong) instead of loaf tin. Result, it cut into 16 big pieces, 2 per serving (so one for afternoon tea and one for supper Tongue), and is so lovely and moist. I baked it for 30 minutes, but will bake it longer next time (little bit too moist Wink)

Last night I made spaghetti bolognaise bake which was yum and I have leftover for lunch today. Tonight for dinner we are having southern fried chicken drumsticks baked in oven and some of the family that prefer are having it pan fried on stove top on cut up chicken scnitzel.

Made a carrot and date loaf on the weekend too, is yummy

Well, I'm down 500gm, as far as I can tell on my non-digital scales!
I may have been a little frivolous with the roasted almonds, so will pull back on them.
I just can't be bothered with too much cooking in this heat, but am eating lots of salads,
and adding cooked green beans (thin & sweet) on top.
Am relying a lot on the microwaved spud with salad topping.
Lynda, I love the sound of your chicken & peach with balsamic...the peaches are sweet & juicy, organic and come from the valley just below us. Will try it this week. Husband is harvesting his small crop of tomatoes, so we are getting 1 or 2 shiny reds a day.
Ciao ciao!

Well done Annamaria, 500gm is not a bad loss. Keep up the good work.

I wishI could say that it was that warm here, but its not. I envy you your warm weather - roll on summer
