Not being anywhere near a meeting, the online plan was a good option for me.

Little did I know what I had signed up for.

I had expected to have meal guidelines, recipes and a weekly weighin. I have done other online plans and this is basicly what you get.

I looked at the daily food log and thought OK I'll play the game, I have used fitday in the past so no biggie there.

What I really didn't expect and was caught totally by surprise, was that someone reads these and comments on it. Oh my imagine my surprise when I got an email talking about what I had eaten the day before, talk about having to keep on track now. Someone else is going to see what I eat Embarrassed

Thank you Carolyn for that one thing alone it is worth doing the online plan.

That is scarey - but in a good way! I need the accountability of going to class otherwise I'd just drift on my own and always be planning to start again tomorrow. This sounds like a new high-tech way of getting that accountability - even more so as Carolyn has access to all the info you enter  Left She will be really pleased to see this positive feedback.

Good luck on your journey to the worm!

Good on yu Kiwismum,
I have been around Carolyn for so many years now and never a meal goes by without an image of her flitting through my thoughts!!
She is inspirational and patient but doesn't pull punches.  Use you all you can as it will be you that wins int he long run - and of course Carolyn will feel great for your achievement!

Hi Im new  Smile
I've just realized that there is someone here called kiwigirl .. are you by anychance a New Zealander too? Sorry for having such a similiar username .. this is the username I use on other forums.  Embarrassed

Anyhow im a size 8 american and have recently become unsatisfied with my weight. Ideally I would want to be an american size 6. I would love to fit a smaller size but I shouldn't be unrealistic.. with my frame and body type this would be unhealthy. I've come a long way I used to be size 12 american and have lost 2 dress sizes. But im still not happy. Perhaps part of it is that no matter how much weight I lose I still feel the same way inside. Just one dress size to go! Im not a fan of exercise  Embarrassed and so would love to share support online.

Welcome kg89,

OK so you are going to have to remind of what the difference in the sizes is. I know I did look it up once, but can't remember what it is.

I think we all hate exercise, so you are not alone with that one.

Sounds like you have done really well so far. Look forward to getting to know you.
