As I approach weigh in day after my first week on plan, I find I am more interested in the results than I am nervous abput them.

I am feeling rather pleased with myself that I am managing to get through the weekend(a big danger time for me) and although I know I have not been on plan the whole time, I have at least been so close that I could almost call those times weekly indulgences - Like the jelly tip I had last night :o

On of the things that has worked for us this weekend is the ability to give the book to someone else and then make whatever they choose out of it.

So yesterday my 9 year old waved the book at me, she wanted Bacon and egg pie. Well I didn't get around to making it then, but we did have it for lunch today, and I have the peace of mind that I stayed on plan while still giving her what she wanted.

I gave hubby the book this morning so he could choose something for dinner, so tonight it is Bangers, Beans and Mash. Hardly a surprise that one he is the original junk food king so anything that seems 'carbie' would suit him just fine. For me again it is in the plan, so agin I have pleased the family and stayed on my diet.

Yay for family meals in the books it makes the whole thing so easy.

Yes, well I'm all signed up now, and hopefully have my ticker to prove it ( thought it said 'tickler' and thought 'now that's a novel approach', Carolyn! ).
We've had a NZ friend staying for the last few days, and have been spoiling him ( and ourselves) a bit.
Well.. you have to, don't you? He's come all that way!

Anyway, big Kiss-start tomorrow morning, but have been weaning ourselves onto it since yesterday.
Heavy on the watermelons, cold showers & bottles of ice-cold water!
Dieting MUST be easier now than in the cold of Winter. Roll Eyes

Hope you like the photos,  Kiss
Me with lovely bourganvillea, with little sister on beach, and dusk over Montalto.

Welcome Annamarie,

It is the cold of winter here in little NZ, but I am finding that a lot of the recipes are very winter friendly.

I am usually too busy in the summer to worry too much about what I am eating or losing weight, and I often find that by the time winter comes and I think about it I don't want to follow most of the diets, as they were written to follow in summer.

I like that this one is locally written and has the type of foods we would normally eat.

You might have chosen the wrong line for the ticker, try taking out everything but the last line.

Welcome back Annamaria Wink  Thanks for the photos.  We love getting them.

Hope all well with you.  Cold and wet here Angry but it is winter.

Good luck with KK - I'm in a good head space at present so looking forward to seeing my ticker move (hopefully the right way) each week Wink

Welcome AM....
I am sooooooooooooooo envious of your weather!!! Brrr I am freezing to death here in sunny Nelson...and yep, we have the sun....BUT it is so cold!!!  However, the sea is flat, the mountains are covered in snow and the air is crisp and clear and all is beautiful...lots to be grateful for...enjoy the visitors....good luck on your new KK journey!

Hey, where's my tickler??
You have to go into WeighInOnline.com and under Fun Stuff you go into Select a Ticker. You then get to see the different tickers we have and you can select one. After choosing one click on the Use Selected Ticker at the bottom of the page and you'll get a new page with further instructions and the code that you need to copy and paste into your forum profile signature (on the forums you click on Profile, then under Modify Profile you click on Forum Profile Information and replace your existing signature with the code).

Yell out if you need any help in setting it up.
