Is K9 the product that comes in a orange? cardboard packet? Origin South island? I know I get a newsletter from someone.....I wish Lisas allergies where food related but no luck...allergies can be hard to diagnose as they can differ from season to season..we took her to a reiki practitioner and he put her on a gluten free (or was it lactose?) free diet but that didnt help either ...
Stew made in the crockpot for us tonight, had two containers of leftover gravy in the freezer which I was tired of looking at, one was onion gravy the other..wouldnt have a clue..but both added to meat made a tasty stew, lots of mashed potato and I ran out and got some silverbeet before the worst of the weather hit...just found two black wasps with gold stripes in the kitchen sink...wonder if I bought them in with the veg..eeww..not fond of creepy crawly things...

Its raining..again Yesterdays towels had to be respun due to the icy hail treatment they got yesterday..no point in hanging them out yet.. I have looked at that product, even phoned our local supplier but too expensive when feeding lots of hairy hounds I do use the odd dog roll for my fellas (thats takeaway night) otherwise its a raw meat cereal based diet... I think more thought goes into feeding the critters at times than us! Your snack was much better than my icecream in a cone Leftover stew for lunch today and a cheesy beef mince pie for tonight..living out of the deep freeze until the next shopping day

Yum I love having leftovers for lunch. I had a chicken and avocado sandwich, but while I was cooking the chicken decided that I needed some cooked onions today, then while cooking the onions decided that they needed plum sauce. So I ended up with a chicken, avocado and salad salad sandwich with onions cooked in plum sauce. I must say it wasn't too bad.
I spend alot of time feeding animals, but then we have a lot of animals that need feeding.
I am feeling rather chuffed because I just managed to put together a wheel barrow. Normally a blue job in our house but I did it all by myself.

That sounds a great combination! I love avocado (only one here to do so) and plum sauce..and chicken..very tasty lunch! Well done on the wheel barrow..I find here the females put things together better cause they read the instructions first..not last I can imagine pigs, horses, dog etc would take a good portion of your day. Now we only have eight dogs my 'feeding out' is a lot easier..cause they still have dishes to wash its the grooming that takes hours out of my week...and pleased to say Charlie is still fine..and I havent dispatched any more snails..so still wondering if the salt sprinkled around the yard had/has anything to do with it..time will tell. Blowing a hurricane here today, was watching recycling bins getting rolled around the street when i was walking and next minute the wind plucked a little plastic bag from my pocket and sent it flying away..tried to chase it but too fast for me..thankfully got home without having to pick up and deposits How are the injuries today? On the mend I hope...

Yes I seem to be on the mend, not hobbling around quite so much today. Looking forward to a more normal day tomorrow.
Meatballs on penne with vegetable sauce for dinner tonight, should be nice.

Hi gals. Been a bit busy today but I am getting through the rubbish on my desk. Some of it I am not happy to say has been awaiting attention for 12-18 months!! Well it wasn't exactly on my desk, but it was in the pile next to it!!! As things are quieter at work in respect of new stuff coming in, it has given us time to clean up so much and in some ways its a godsend - though not in the cash flow way!!
I have been on programme since I last spoke. Having dylan there last night kept me out of the kitchen. He enjoyed his home made fish and chips and then he had some peaches. He's an excellent eater. Don't think I've ever seen him turn down a thing.
Weather - talk about 4 seasons in one day!!! Its sunny this minute....
Off to get my legs waxed shortly - well that should get rid of 500 gms!!! haha.
Catchya tomorrow. I am buying takeaways for the others and having omelette. Well thats my plan in my head anyway!!!

Last nights meatballs and penne went down much better than I had expected. Daughter who says she hates both pumpkin and mushrooms enjoyed it, and says she would eat it again. So that is a good thing, mind you I did try and not put any mushrooms on the plate. Home made F&C tonight like every friday night. I have been making a homemade celery and tomato salsa to go with it over the winter and it has really been enjoyable. I will admit to keeping the salsa all to myself. With all my fussy eaters I didn't think anyone else would like it, they never eat the shop salsa. But thenI had to listen to hubby complain to someone that I wasn't sharing it, Maybe I will make extra for him tonight just to shut him up. Oh no its raining here again

Well done, if that was my fussy eater she would have put the pumpkin to the side..she will eat mushrooms..celery would be a no go...last nights pie had one small potato cubed into the mix, and yes, one plate came back with the potato on the side! Have a new recipe tonight corn and noodle fritters, made with a can of corn and a packet of 2 min noodles..I am sure that will be well received. Breezy and fine here this morning until the last article of clothing was hung on the line then it rained Suns shining now so am hoping rain will stay away for a couple of hours...am managing quite well with out the clothes dryer but wouldnt want to be working away from home, that would be more difficult.. Nuff rambling from me, vacuum awaits, would rather read a book....

Is that a KK recipe, sounds like something my fussy eater would like. I was brave and hung my towels on the outside line, will see if they get dry. Who knows if they will get dry or not. I braved taking my spade with me and dug out some thistles while I did my rounds this morning, the leg didn't thank me much so might have to rest it for a while

Drat, I lost my letter! Hope it doesnt turn up twice..if so..sorry folks..must have pushed the wrong button. Dont you just love this weather, just before lunch it rained on my just about dry washing! So its rescued, ironed and finishing drying on the clothes horse in the sun..not going to tempt fate and leave it outside Hows the leg now? Digging can be hard on sore joints... The noodle corn fritter thing is just a mix of one pkt of 2 min noodles mixed with cream style corn, egg and flour...basically..I guess it could be worked out to match the kk plan. I belong to the Simple Savings NZ site and get many recipes and ideas from there...if you would like the site address let me know...and I can send you the recipe if you would like, as long as there is no problem posting recipes that may not be on plan.. oh well better make use of the time inbetween showers and walk a couple of dogs...my canine boarder goes home tomorrow so that will make life easier, hopefully next week will see Stacey out of season and this crazy place should be back to normal (whatever that is)...
