I can relate, I am the only one here that likes asparagus. I didn't tell miss fussy what was in it and while serving tried not to give her too much asparagus. Also the fresher it is the better the taste so that helps as well.

Hi everone,  lovely day here, just about ready to go for a walk.  Spent the morning working so hopefully have used up some of the calories I over indulged in last night Embarrassed
Some new tee shorts I ordered arrived in the mail this morning but as yet havent had the courage to try them on..if they dont fit I will have to go to a larger size which means they will be too wide across the shoulders and too long in the sleeve...of course could just keep them and lose the weight then they would fit Smile  will try them on...later...
Dont think much of the new cereal I bought yesterday, am allowing half a cup as a serving size..only problem with it it has pieces of dried fruit which are as hard as little rocks so shant buy that brand again...
Hope everyones having a good day...

Hi there, sorry you didn't like new cereal - what was it. I made a cereal that had dried fruit in and it was delicious - mind I only bought what I liked to put in it!!! Must get that recipe and let you know where it is. I think the other cereal in there is puffed wheat and it has a big serving.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  I am being good.  Home made pizzas for dinner tonight. Had the chicken satay one for dinner last night - yum as usual!!!

Must dash so my desk is tidy for Monday.  I am so looking forward to being home alone tomorrow hile the boys go to the Speed show at the showgrounds. Then daughter said shemight come around.  I love her, but I just want time home alone!!!!

Time home a lone, you mean you are not going away for the weekend Wink

I am not a cereal eater so no point in asking me about cereal, most of them just taste like cardboard to me.

My new recipe for today was Caramelised Kumera and Onion Bake. I got the recipe off the website.

It couldn't have been easier to make, shove everthing in a dish and put it in the oven. Very easy. I was the only one who had as I made it at lunch time, but it was a nice side dish so that is all good.

Hope you all have a good weekend and I also hope the weather is good.

Evening All,    Smile

Getting time alone can be hard at times....been a busy day here...good weather...I have the kumera and onion recipe to try with the roast chicken on Monday, looked easy and sounded as though it would be nice.

The Ranchers Pie we had tonight was fine, small piece leftover so that and a salad will be my lunch tomorrow..daughter didnt eat the potato topping (or the meat that was under it)..husbands doing crumed chicken legs tomorrow so she will eat those...

It was Pams Lite and Tasty Lynda..I like rolled oats for winter and then generally choose a cereal fruit mix for summer but wont try this one again..I have made some of the fruit compotes (is that the word) out of the kk books for breakfast...

Well, I tried on the t-shirts I ordered and will be sending them and the pyjamas back tomorrow Sad  Shirts fit fine over the shoulders but get to the waistline where all the fat is and far too tight..its my own fault..just got complaincent and let things slide..disappointing but just have to get over it and get on with it!

Have a good weekend ladies..

Hi ladies, How are you all.  Have been very busy today - one of the ladies on annual leave and the other sick so its just been me.
I have been in a "titchy" mood for a couple of days so its just as well.
I had a terrible weekend because of it - though it is no excuse.  I was just being bloody-minded I guess.
You all sound like you had some nice meals.  My meals were excellent - even portion sizes, it was just the "annoyed" eating that was bad - mind - it was bad enough.  Not looking forward to weighing in but I must take my punishment.  Have aleady emailed Carolyn and confessed my sins.  She replied just as I took my wallet out to go downstairs and buy chocolate - so her timing was impeccable.  I didn't go!  I have been good all day today though.

Its been a beautiful weekend and day in Auckland - long may it continue.

I made the Scalloped Potato and chicken bake last night withleft over roast chicken. It was delicious and I had some for lunch today too.

Scalloped Potato and chicken bake sounds really nice Lynda.

What a shame about the extra eating, we all do it, and we all growl at ourselves. The problem is we don't always listen to ourselves.

The weather has been mostly good here too so I have been getting out in the garden a bit more.

My meals over the weekend have been mostly good but had an unexpected trip out to my cousins last night so had not planned well enough to keep things good, and then there was the peanut butter sandwiches on saturday Sad

Still have to live with it now. My weighin is tomorrow so I will wait and see what that is.

keeping my fingers crossed you both have good weigh in results.  I weighed this morning and its starting to come down..slowly..
Understand the annoyed eating lynda..I do it myself Sad  then regret it...I liked the sound of your dish, was it originally cooked chicken or did you change it to suit?
Mmm, peanut butter sandwiches Smile  One of my favourites is thinly sliced apple, rasins and peanut butter...no other marg or butter though...must fly dinner preparation awaits...

Yay, down 700g this week which I really needed after not lossing any last week Yes

I am very happy about that.

Just had egg rolls with baked bean filling for breakfast and I have one small bit of bacon left over from the weekend so BLT for lunch. Just have to decide on dinner, but might even make a fish pie. I am sure I have seen a recipe for one in one of my books, so that can be my new KK recipe.

Off to find that recipe now. Smile

Well done, thats a nice little bump down the scale..hope this week goes well too..there is a pie called Joshs fish pie (KK recipe but given to me by a freind)..am sure you will find one...if you cant let me know and I will see what I have here..
the kumera baby onion recipe last night turned out fine, perhaps not as crisp as they mention in the recipe but 210 degrees was too hot to roast my chicken..
chicken bacon fettucine for us tonight..
Drizzling here this morning so the final dig over of the flower garden will have to wait...

Well the fish pie has turned into the Tasty Fishcakes in the KK diet book. Funnily enough I could not find the fish pie I was looking for, but I am sure that these will be nice too.
