First of all well done Lynda on your good eating, look forward to hearing your results. Wink

Well things seem to be finally starting to wind down here so I decided that today was the day to get back on the wagon(so to speak) and start over.  Laugh

Actually I don't think I have gained too much over the last month, Cool so it hopefully won't take too long get back to where I stopped and then lose a bit more. Smile I will try to go it alone for this week and then decide if I have to sign up again.

Hopefully will have more time to chat, so be warned, I will be expecting you all to chat back. Yes

Good on you KM.  Get to it.  I lost 1.3 this week so am delighted.  I looked at my card this morning and do you know I have lost and regained the same 4.5 kilos since 17 December last year. How pathetic is that!!!!

i will take my 1.3 this week and my 1.1 last week and I intend to jolly well keep them this time!! I told Carolyn after my last big gain 3 weighs back that I planned to lose 6 kilos by last weigh in before xmas - so 4 to go.  It hasn't been that hard to achieve these two weight gains but am aware they won't continue at that rate, but I will be working hard.

So 2.4 down so 3.6 to go till 16 December.  Also, I am now going to my sisters wedding the weekend before that so another incentive to lose well over the next few weeks.

Wow thats a good loss you must be feeling good about that. I guess you could say that in your own way you have maintained your weight over the last year Laugh, just get your mum on your side and you should be right.

I weighed this morning and with not following the plan while I have been really busy I have only gained 300gms so I am not too upset about that one. Now to get it going in the downward direction again.

I know (honest I do) that if you can only gain 300 gms on non programme, that you should be fantastic on programme.
So get to it!!!!  Keep me posted.

I have had sardines on toast the last two days.  Am uping my fish meals.  Am going to my sisters wedding mid December and I haven't seen her for, ooh, her sons wedding which must be 4 years ago.  She "divorced" the family quite a number of years ago but I am going as my "mums guest".  So shall have to be looking my best.  I think at her sons wedding I was probably 15 kilos lighter.  At his engagement party I was at goal! Oh those were the days...
Oh and they are a coming back!!!

You go girl  Cool just try not to show the bride up too much or else she might not talk to you for another 4 years Laugh

Made Carolyns Cauliflower pie with the hash brown crust last night, but tonight hubby is coming home so we will have schnitzel and veges.

Just have to work out what I'm going to have for lunch today, yesterday I made a tuna, avocado, pineapple salad. It was really good. Just had a smoothie for breakfast - made a change from an egg - so I am doing well so far. Maybe I can have something with eggs for lunch.

Um, I don't think my sister "talked" to me at the wedding either, she did say a brief hello!  Its been something like 14-15 years since we have had a proper conversation!  However, I have written to her in that time and she's ignored it.  I ring her every year on her birthday and the phone gets "cut off" or there's another call on the line or....
However, I have tried extremely hard to keep up the "trying" to remind her that I am still alive.  I do have permission by her to go as Mum's guest which is great but I shan't be telling my brothers. Was a big falling out of "secret" family stuff - divided loyalties, but in all honesty to me its water under the bridge. I never blamed her for any of the fall out but she just cut the whole family off instantly!!!  She came around awhile when dad was dying and once he had she vanished again, though there was no "real communication" in that time but she did see us at the hospital often though we did sort of "roster" the time we had as we wanted someone with him all the time.  But to me, life is too short for that and I have tried and tried constantly and had almost given up.  We live in a lifestyle block area around Albany and she actually rented a house 3 minutes up the road but every time I tried to visit no-one answered the door though her car was there!! She could have been out.

So anyway, I am happy about at least being able to share her day and I shall certainly not upstage her.  I will be a demure but nicely dressed little (well as small as I can be) thing in the background!!!

What a shame for you Lynda, you have tried so hard.

It is surprising how many families end up with at least one member not talking to the others, you are not alone.

Hope you enjoy the wedding anyway.

I have moved on with "her issues".  I amhappy that she said I can go.  I will have a lovely time and it will be nice to see her again.  I see my nephews often so I am looking forward to it.  Thats all that matters to me.

So, hows the life plan of eating going.... Embarrassed

Well we went and had lunch with our homeschool group in Auckland. I took some of the nice cheeses form the cheese shop in Kiawaka and bread from the Italian bakery.

Guess who ended up sitting there all afternoon with the cheese on one side and the bread on the other? And guess who sat and nibbled on them ALL afternoon. Embarrassed And then they made me take the left over cheese home. That pesto cheese is my favourite and I should know not to buy it, but there you go.

Fish and Chip(homemade) night tonight we always have that on a friday, so I will made a nice big bowl of salsa to fill me up so that I don't eat too many chips. Wink
