Hi All,

I am a long time member of KiwiKISS and have been a "lurker" on the previous forums. I probably will not post too often, but I enjoy reading the posts and will contribute at times.

I am overweight and want to lose some weight before I hit my BIG Five-Oh in September, so I am trying really hard to "STICK TO THE DIET" - As Carolyn would say!

Happy Posting Everyone!!!

Ciao Marg!
Yahoo! I'm ON!!! The new forum, that is!
Here I sit in Italy, every morning checking the forum and hope that TODAY I too can stick to the diet!
Actually yesterday wasn't too bad, and so far so good this morning!
I'm a great one for posting photos, so expect to see some soon.
In bocca di lupo!
Ciao ciao,
Annamaria in Italia

Well done Babe!  I am proud of you! And guess what!? You are the first "official" member which makes you a VIP!  I feel like I know you as I have read all of the posts on the previous forum - even tho' I never posted anything.  I really enjoy your photos.  I love Italy and wish I could learn to speak it like you have learned.

Hugs!

Hello

Just a quickie to test this new forum. I have sue and Cheryl standing over me making sure I do it right. Still need to work out the hippo thing! Will the hippo lose weight with me or will it just be a reminder of what I currently look like  Tongue ;D :o - I've just been told off for the negative comments but I AM only joking  Laugh Sunday is "D" day - wish me luck!

Cheers
Tracey

Ciao MollyKate, Sue & Cheryl!!
Wow, a brand new forum, and hopefully Carolyn will be able to keep us true here with a few comments here & there.
I'll try for the Hippo thing too, what a great idea, really in your face!

Had a good day yesterday, and really feel inspired today too. I'll be needing my Angels & Saints today, I'm sure.

So how long are you country rascals up in the Big Smoke?
Don't forget your Annmarie Memorial Walk around Cornwall Park...and some photos please!!
Looking forward to hearing from the others here in The Lounge soon.
Off for a 5km walk now, ciao, ciao!

Hello,
This is Trix saying hello....my new name....(it is a long story)....haha...
I used to be known as Woodpecker or 69.999999! We thought roadkill would do it....another long story etc....

Lovely to be here on the new forum and registered (hopefully - but so far so good) ...I have just had a stunning time in Auckland meeting wonderful and inspiring people every single one of them.  Wish I could have spoken to those gorgeous gals down the other end of the table a bit more...but it shall have to be next time when we come up for Skinny dogs pin award!

Well I am still officially in denial today...so haven't weighed myself yet Embarrassed Embarrassed....but am making a solemn  Wink ;)agreement that tomorrow is D day...being the first of June...and having been inspired  Angel :angel:and motivated!!!  :-*OOOHH yippee :police:

You Jaffa ladies have been wonderful...thanks so much to you all...you made our stay a truly memorable experience. Hilli I love that mug thank you...your hospitality was most appreciated and you are a delightful woman....I constantly had the feeling that I needed to cuddle you!! Luckily I managed a bit of restraint (But that didn't last for the menu choices!!)  :o :o

Tracey you have just been totally a treasure....you transported us everywhere and entertained us superbly...thank you thank you thank you.....

Scotty Dog/skinny dog.....you too were just awesome (as us Kiwi chicks say)!! Thanks so much for a delightful evening and all the "extra miles" you went to on our behalf....the orbit was a treasured highlight ...however, we shall not mention dead possums!!!

Carolyn you are a stunning woman!  Thanks so much for your kindness and your wonderful books...I shall try and make you proud of me.....watch this space....that motivational book may just be what I need...nudge nudge wink wink!!! I shall be on the way to being the South Island walking advertisement for the KKissers!!!! Walking being the operative word hopefully!!!

Anyway, best go and check out the other posts...omigosh this is going to be confusing at first....doesn't take much to confuse the old girl~!

Thanks once again to all you lovelies!
Catch up soon

Well, if I'm a verifiable VIP, Marg, can I have a Hippo Chart too???

Woodpecker!! Why did you change your name?? :o
I much prefer to think of you as that pretty bird we see when we are walking in the Italian countryside.
Trix sounds a bit...well  :-\...you know!!

Have been collecting Elderflowers ( Sambuco) and making cordial to sell at the local B&Bs for a nice Summer drink. You can have it with fizzy mineral water - very refreshing!

Also talking one of the nearby Nonna's to make some pots of marmellata or jam to sell too. She thinks I'm pazza ( crazy!)
Yvonne, I don't envy you & your 8 hairy dogs!! Mamma Mia! But nice to have you back again.
Well, must dash & water the geraniums & roses.
Ni ni! & be good!

Hi Annamaria

Trix was just a joke - I am going to re-register under Woodpecker - I was telling the girls about this "sleepwalking" (with no walking involved but I was fast asleep) anyway I was lifting my legs into the air and asking my husband to watch my tricks!!!! Never gonna live that one down! Yes, we definitely DID Cornwall Park....but another confession - only by car I am afraid....haha...next time!!!

Yvonne so nice to have you back - welcome - sorry that you ladies couldn't join us for our meal - both of you were talked about in the nicest possible way. We had a lovely lovely time and it would have been great to have had you both there...

I am still trying to find my way around here....I am such a creature of habit, and really get all beside myself with change, but I am soldiering on and shall get there!

Chat later - once I have re-registered and re-admitted my INCREASED details etc...but new beginnings and all...
cheerio or should that be ciao?

How's Tricks?????? Tongue
Not sure if I'm liking this new board! Like you I am a creature of habit. It is time consuming finding my way round, and somethings you do miss from the old board.

Hi everyone

Day 1 and so far so ... well better than last week  ;D This starting on the first of the month is a great idea but in the middle of a long weekend and when I have no children for the night!!! well, as I said doing better but not angelic yet - that'll have to wait until I'm back at work on Tuesday  Angel I will put my "stats" on then - hopefully someone  would have answered our cries for help with the hippo thing  Cry Laugh These new emoticons take a bit of getting used to, as does the whole forum I guess. As with anything new there are good things and bad things about this one compared to the other. It'll just take a bit of getting used to.

Hope you're all having a great day.

Cheers
MK.

OK, if they want us to have different things under different topics, how do you start a new topic. And should I have posted that in the Help area, or what???????

I'm a farm girl from the beautiful Taranaki. Lost 40kgs last year in 10 months, simply by sticking to the diet. Seem to have gone AWOL since then, managing to stay static, but only just. :o

Went off on that tangent as I realised I was in the introducing myself area............... I will never get used to this new forum. But this is also the 'Lounge' which is where I would expect to find general chitter chatter, but don't know how to start a new topic.

How was the night out MK, hope you had fun Wizard :beeer: Bomb and no hangovers.

My housework day turned into a day, actually afternoon of shopping. DD decided she absolutely had to have new underwear, and because we are going away for all of 10 days soon, that was just too long to wait. So Farmers had their Queen's Birthday weekend sale and of we trotted. $150:00 later we were back. One less thing we can do holiday now, lol.
Haha, just did spell check and it wanted to change kgs to kegs...........now there's a thought. Laugh
Catch ya later Love Cow

To start a new topic
Choose the area you wish to start a new topic in - eg. The Lounge
Click on the tab that says "new topic" at the top right hand side of the index of topics (also at the bottom too).
Post your new topic...

This new forum certainly takes up a lot more time than the old one! I might have to make a rule that I can't go on while I'm at work. It can be my little treat to have with my coffee when I get home instead of the biscuits I would like to be having  :D Tongue
