Hi everyone

I'm Rachel and are new to these forums but have had the book for awhile. I live in Tokoroa in the South Waikato, i move here from Auckland about 3 years ago. This week i'm going to start seriously trying to stick to the diet, as i have recently given up smoking and have put on agood 5 kilos.

Nice to meet you all.. Laugh

Hi Rachel,
Our Waikato weather may not be extreme but its enough to make me think of soups, stews and all those lovely warming winter goodies.  Like you I have a small amount to shed...was at maintenance but somewhere a few kilos has snuck on Cry  Thinking of taking the skipping rope and going into the garage out of sight and giving that a few minutes..just hope I dont trip up and fall flat on my face!  After lunch will be the daily walk which saves my sanity and helps keep the weight in check (a little) Wink
Nice to meet a new member,

Hi Rachel welcome aboard. Good for you giving up smoking  Angel Carrying a few extra kilos is much better for your health than the ciggies anyway and you'll knock off those 5 kgs in no time.

Cheers

Hi Rachel B - nice to have you on the board. Don't be put off by thinking we are all old mates on here - some are but others have just got into the swing of things in the last couple of months. A group of us did catch up a couple of weeks ago and felt like old friends even though we'd only been chatting on here - it was quite amazing!  Keep coming back and you will soon be in here talking drivel with the rest of us.  Tongue
Good luck with your weight loss journey  Thumbs Up Banana Thumbs Up Banana Thumbs Up

Mad Cow ditto re 2kgs being nothing compared to the huge loss you've had - just get out there in your togs and strut your gorgeous stuff - you look fab  Kiss
