Welcome to another week.  Weigh in tonight and my loss should be an acceptable one as I have had a pretty good week really, and I survived the weekend without anything major upsetting my weekend eating plans etc.

I was exhausted yesterday as Dylan stayed Saturday night and he slept really well for 5 hours - but as I hadn't gone to bed i didn't get any benefit from that and then we woke up a couple of times from midnight to 6am. He's not noisey or naughty in this time as I just totally ignore him but have him on the double bed next to me.  Sometimes he sings quietly and sometimes (a bit of bribery) he will lean over and give me a kiss (oh, so cute and heart warming) but I don't say a word - however I don't sleep either!!  He went back to bed for a 2 1/4 hour sleep at 11 which was bliss.  He was really good.  He is not going to be happy by Wednesday when all those plums will be gone. Paul and I went and picked most of them last night that were left on the tree.
That was the worst thing I had really all weekend - quite a few plums!!!  Must check my granny smiths.  There are heaps on the tree this year but as teh birds haven't started attacking them it is probably still a bit early.  Love apple sauce like my aunt used to make, might have to find a recipe.

Have a great day everyone.
Hope you are all well and had a good weekend.

Hi there.
800 down this week and am very happy with that.
Not so happy about Mum cooking up a storm in my kitchen this morning - Toll house cookies, Chocolate crunch and lemon cake!!!  I might have to walk to the neighbours tonight and drop some off!!!  I love all these things.
I have been good and cut out a lot of restricted protein over last couple of weeks and got home to delicious roast pork dinner last night and mum had also made stew for tonight and stewing chops for tomorrow night!!!  Will have to freeze some and give to my girls!
She is wonderful and she was so happy when I lost 800 this week.
I feel like I am being unreasonable!!!!

Hope you are all fit and healthy and working hard at everything!

Hi there,
Well i have packed up most of the baking to give away today.  I won't even try and remember how much choc crunch I had last night.  I felt extremely sick after and I was thinking "Hmmm, its not really as nice as it looks" so I stopped... not soon enough!!

Hope you all well and happy!

Well done Lynda.  Smile  It is the beginning of a new week for me too. I have lots of determination and haven't wanted to stray even yet. There is lots of temptation around but I am just not interested  Angel .
I too have had a glut of plums but mine are really just starting. First tree right into it now and three more to ripen. I am freezing lots for later use. I did make a batch of plum jam. It is really nice on my toast at 4.
Keep up the good work

Hi ladies,
its a hot and humid evening here..had to shut the windows as I got tired of all the little bugs coming in...took advantage of the days after last weeks rain to weed, prune, trim, p;repare bulb gardens..in general just had some fun outside Smile much nicer than housework Embarrassed

Would love to have a plum tree, only have grapefruit and lemon trees here..and a fig but  dont particularly like figs!

That was great will power to give away all that lovely baking Lynda..I know I would have eaten my share before doing so.  Well done on your loss...I couldnt get interested enough to bother weighing...

Pedometers...I too have had a variety over the years, most expensive from a sports shop was the worse, heavy and clumsy..best ones have been from Weight Watchers and Sanitarium..not expensive and seem to be accurate showing time, steps, distance...ww one even beeps when you reach a certain level..present one came free with a magazine and is called a Digiwalker...

Enough rambling, really think I need a cup of tea and bed..keep up the good work everyone...

Hi ladies,
Well Yvonne, I would love to be able to grow citrus. It get far too cold here in the winter. I have tried them in pots but even that isnt very successful.
Still feeling great today. Much cooler here with low cloud and it is actually a bit gloomy out there. Plenty to keep me busy today so I don't really care.
Keep up the good work

Hi there ladies
Yes the humidity is back.  Was a nice wee break.  I am trying to get down to the next "..ty" at the moment and was only 200 grams off getting down there (you know a knew 50, 60, 70, 80, 90) type thing - I don't want to say which one though!!!!  So I was annoyed to see all the baking and I did have my share before I got rid of it!!

But I have been good since.  So I shall have fish and chicken until the next weigh in.

Pamela B where are you from - were you here before the Xmas break?  I am getting old and forgetful - I sometimes forget I am on a healthy and wonderful eating programme and find "non programme" food in my mouth!!! Haha....

Hidy Hi all,
Yup I have been around for a while. I live in Blenheim (well an hour out). I thought I could do it alone but have decided I really need to be accountable to someone other than myself so have just decided to sign up for 12 weeks. That way I will have to stick to it for that long  Yes.
The birds haven't seemed to have found my plums this year. Last year when there were only a very few they scoffed them before they even got ripe. I am freezing them flat out. Just stewed a pot full but the other supermarket bag went straight into the freezer. Been good all this week so it will be interesting to see how it all goes.

After I asked before I remembered, I think you have a sheep farm?  Or something like that. Or I could be totally wrong!!!

No Lynda you are right. I have a sheep farm down here, and I hate eating them  Yes . No lamb for me.  No Way The only red meat I eat is beef. I actually made a heap of mince patties and froz them the other day. They are so quick and simple when wacked frozen in the george forman. By the time the veges are cooked so are the patties. I had fun and put alsorts of flavours in them. But when I bagged them to freeze I put them all in one bag (what was I thinking) now it is lucky dip.
