Thanks for that Lynda, having been able to set a clock by my cycle in the past it is going to be a big adjustment to have it all over the place. Still every female goes through it eventually so I guess I will survive. I just don't want to know what I weigh right now.

In saying that I have been good with my eating all day and have planned steak and veges for tonight so maybe I will get in a good 24 hours. Most of my problem since friday was that we ended up eating out a lot. Not so good when that happens.

My hubby is a present buyer so I guess I am lucky like that. He bought me some lovely what he thought was silk PJs 2 sizes bigger than I use to wear and they were still too small Cry Whats more with all this extra fluid I had to ask him not to touch me because everything hurts. I hope it passes soon.

I know the problems with the "being used to the usual cycle".  You can get some natural stuff from chemist to help with it and although my herbs are fantastic for me, I believe the stuff at the chemist can be excellent too!

Keep up the good work.  Trust me, I know all about it!!!

Well for some unknown reason some of the fluid has decided to part company with me. Don't know why since as far as I can tell nothing has changed, but I am certainly no going to complain about it.

Anyway I am feeling a little happier with myself, so I even got on the scales this morning. Lets just say that the gain was quite as bad as I had been thinking, so all is not lost.

Looks like it back down to just the two of us again, we seem to have been deserted.

Haven't had too much of a good eating day today. I slept in which is not common for me, and by the time I got time for breakfast it was 9.30. So I just had a hot chocolate and a freshly picked pear. Lunch was a souffle and bread and butter and after I mowed some of the lawns I had another pear. I have no idea what we will be having tonight at this stage and since it is already 4.00 I had better find something soon.

I think I need to get with the real world as far as my weight goes and stop telling myself that I don't really need to follow the rules so much. I am going to re read the middle age spread book, but this time I will need to take special note of the rules for this time in my life. Oh dear I must be getting old.

Well Carolyn has done it again Embarrassed Here I am reading her book and there it is... the reason for my cookie problem.

So I will change my afternoon snack from soup now in an effort to overcome this. I have put some fruit and spice bread into the breadmaker, Miss fussy will love it in the morning, and I can toast a slice in the afternoon and see how that goes.

Should have paid more attention the her words of wisdom earlier.

Hi KM and Lynda, I am still in the land of the living sort of. I have a wretched cold and feel awful. Making my asthma really play up. I am not signed up to Carolyn until next Tuesday. Hubby seems to have put a huge amount on the visa and I am not allowed to add anything to it until next month which means Tuesday  Yes . But as I feel so awful that is probably not a bad thing. I am living on soup and bread (toast hurts the throat too much). But no junk so heres hoping the weight wont be up too much.
How are the kittens KM have they settled in yet. How cute are kittens  Yes I just adore them it is a shame that they grow up. But I love my cats dearly.
Been very cold here overnight and in the mornings lately. The fire gets lit before the sun goes down or it takes too long to heat the house.
You both sound as though you having been having fun.
Good point Lynda what has happened to Yvonne. She hasn't been chatting on here for ages.
It is nice to have each other to whinge at when things aren't going well. When I went to cards I gave in and had two choccy bisc and loved every mouthfull. Didn't even feel guilty. Just carried on with the rest of the day as usual. I didn't have the packet just 2 bisc so that was fine by me.

 Hi
Am really pleased about the fluid loss ? it does just drop out!!!  Its been a problem for years with me from mid cycle to the end of it and then whoosh ? just gone!!!  Its just keeping in my head that I have been good and that the scales will show it in a few days!!!!

Haha KM isn?t it funny and amazing that Carolyn gets things right ? she goes on about that ?bread in the afternoon? at probably 80% of her meetings!!!!  Its true too.  It does work!  I?m not for defacing books ? but there are a couple I have ?highlighted? stuff in or put stickies in so I can find them again quickly?..

Welcome back Pamela and hope you are feeling better.  Carolyn says that if we are out then we shouldn?t totally deprive ourselves otherwise we go silly when we get home.  I do that now ? if I want something when out with others, I have it and as a result its rare for me to go home and pig out to spite myself!!!

Anyway, hope you feeling better.  Its certainly a bit cooler here at night and in the morning.  Take care okay ? both of you

Sorry to hear you are not feeling great PB but it is great to hear from you again.

The kittens are settling in nicely, although I have had to change the duvet on the bed to just a shop bought and not the beautiful quilt I had made as they couldn't resist pouncing on all the patterns on it. I have also had to pack up the sewing machine for a while since they keep trying to climb up and check it out.

Woke up this morning to find a bull in one of my paddocks so was not very impressed, still we are getting a new fence out of it so I won't complain too loudly, and the owners were pretty quick to get it sorted for us, luckly thursday is the morning that I just let the calf have all the milk, so I had left them all down the back last night. Otherwise I would have had to be sorting my cows out with the bull running around.

It never stops here the always seems to be something new to keep life interesting.

Had curried sausages last night and I am just making the vege bake to cover lunch for tomorrow and today. Miss fussy has been devouring the fruit bread and was most put out when I told her that she had to save one piece for me to have later Wink. After having a poached egg for breakfast I am feeling pretty happy with the way my meals are going today. I am planning to have the lamb cutlets with the roasted veges so that will give me a carb free night, actually I am looking forward to it as it is exactly the sort of food I love.
