Extra Effort for the weekend

Hi Ladies,
just dropping by to check out recipes...do hope your daughter is showing signs of getting better Lynda...smoked fish in white sauce? yum...if the sauce was with low fat milk shouldnt be too bad...I do know this weather is made for eating..anything to keep warm..and not being able to do much outside eating does keep the boredom away

Did the nice weather last KM?  Started with yet another frost here today..poor birds must think the bird baths are ice skating rinks in this weather..first bulb is flowering, a jonquil I think, so hopefully warmth and sunshine is on the way!  Havent weighed lately but think  I am maintaining despite being Miss Piggy,    doubling my walks must be helping...

Hi there,
The smoked fish... well I like smoke fish but as I am trying to stay on programme would much rather have fresh.  The rest of the family don't eat it.  My boy Dylan ate most of it last night so is all gone now.  He loved it!  He had smoked fish in white sauce and grapes and apple for dinner!!!

He slept all night which was great.

Mum bad again today.  Plus I have had to take my own baby (20 yr daughter) back to Dr as they thought she had pleurisy or bronchitis but has got worse since Monday so took her back for some more checks.  They gave her a blood test to make sure she doesn't have swine flu though don't think she has but also tests for other things as well.  Just thought I'd better do the right thing.  She wants to come and stay at home with her mummy but we have run out of beds.  I am kinda hoping mum will go home tomorrow for the weekend and then Deanna can come and stay and I can look after her.  Haha, plus her TV is broken!!!

Going along, I will get there.  Focusing again.  Ta for your concern and support.
