I want to ask you a question. When it comes to weight loss - how do you define success?
To answer 'someone that loses a lot of weight' - is not always a true measure of success.
Successful weight loss, for me, is someone that works progressively towards their goal, accepting that there will be small losses amongst some bigger ones. It is a person that understands that changes need to be made to their everyday eating pattern and that these changes need to be permanent to ensure that the weight loss is permanent! A 5 kilogram weight loss that is maintained for life is success - a 40 kilogram weight loss that returned in 18 months is not.
Success isn't about the biggest loser or the fastest weight loss. Success is about setting a goal and moving towards that goal - everyday.
